Why do exos reboot?
I’ve always wondered why exos reboot. They’re just humans with their conscience transferred into a robot body. So why do they reboot and lose a good chunk of their memory?

When an Exo is experiencing a mental reaction known as D.E.R. in which the brain rejects the Exo body, the mind is whipped to prevent the reaction from happening again. Exo's can also get rebooted from of more malicious reasoning. Learning about classified information, redeployment on the battlefield, promotions in the military Etc.
