Not necessarily.
Graviton Forfeit and Vigilance Wing were the op meta for a long time. From what I can tell, not many people quit. Instead they adapted and followed the meta, and that will most likely happen with gambit as well. As for me, I’m waiting until Forsaken drops so I can continue working my way towards Sleeper. It’s a powerful gun, and if that’s what everyone’s using, then fight fire with fire.

Because graviton lance and vigilance didnt massively outclass every other weapon like sleeper does. I could go against gravitons and vigilance wings all day without feeling like they are uncounterable or that there is no other option On the other hand, sleeper IS basically uncounterable and will reach a point where there is no other option

I beg to differ. For example, if you are a crack shot with a sniper, then you could kill the person before they even get a shot off. It’s really not that hard, and my accuracy is that of a potato.

You say that, but in reality, if you are invading you have a massive advantage of knowing where your enemy is, So its the ultimate tool for invading, and its up there for dps and dealing with blockers, and it is a perfect counter to invading supers.... There is basically nothing in gambit that it isnt nearly or actually "the best" at

Or you can just outwit and/or outplay them and kill them with a shotgun or something with high dps Or maybe theres now a counter since Forsaken dropped yesterday

So get closer and kill them while they charge their shots OR Just take cover and only poke so often
