I forgot Orpheus Rig even got a “nerf” I was using it last night and literally felt no change lol

Played my Hunter earlier, 3 immediate supers returned when tethering. Don't even notice the change. I tether at specific points, and even can tether in lesser areas now thanks to the return energy I get. And doing EP, holy hell, just the simple tethering of the stage bosses damn near returns my super, mix in the random knights/thralls that come into range, and I'm tethering them all down again. If a person needs to tether a handful of thralls, they shouldn't even be playing as a Night Stalker. Run with a Void Walker using the Skull of Dire Ahamkara and the effectiveness is brutal. I ran my Warlock while my buddy ran his Hunter, I've never Nova Bombed so much shit in a run, it was amazing.

Regret def still feels like crap in PVP. Can attest to that. It's almost always used to shut down one super, for one kill. So why not let it do that very effectively? Otherwise there's no reason to not just spam dodge with arcstrider and get five or six kills.

Yeah, I don’t know if the tether buff is working or not. It feels just as slow as before.

6 RepliesThe Orpheus nerf isn’t that bad and needed, literally no other super (besides raidin strider) could compete with it for ad control, at least now warlocks ahamkara nova bomb and storm caller at least have a chance, plus we’ll have to wait for Forsaken to actually drop to see how it fully plays out
-
It relies more on quality than quantity now this time around.

29 RepliesTranslation- “Bungie please give me back my crutch. I can’t compete without it” Welcome to the world of balanced supers. Don’t worry, poledancer is still op af so they haven’t taken away all of your crutches.

3 RepliesOrpheus rig change was a rework, not a nerf. If you tried using the tether on more than just trash mobs, like maybe some majors or a boss, you'd see how much better it is in those kind of situations. I feel like where tether is now is where it should be as there's not that big of a reason to tether trash enemies over powerful enemies that pose a bigger threat. You just have to retrain yourself with the exotic if you're accustomed to crutching off it to constantly get your super back

4 RepliesEdited by Xc_LuxZenRa: 9/3/2018 7:53:46 PMOrheus rig is not a nerf...you would know if you took the time to read the description and actually use it properly... you always have your super....it got a Buff!

2 RepliesGood thing they havent cought the teather glitch ive been usuing with Orpheus rig

Idk it's pretty good rn. It feels even easier to regen your super with orpheus.

Feels way worse after the update. Enemines can get out of it way easier now, small redbars get unstuck really easy. And big bosses it has no effect on.
