Can we fix Solar Titan's melee?...Please
The titan melee ability is not working consistently & sometimes giving less melee damage than intended. I've experienced this pre forsaken teaser update & post forsaken teaser update. Sometimes I would melee them & it would take their shields to 50-75% with the burn missing or my melee completely missing but the burn is somehow inflicted.
The other annoying thing is when opponents in PvP die from the burn, they largely do not create a sunspot. Maybe it's because I'm using synthoceps but I can't imagine that being an issue.

Motar Blast sure break the shield and add the burn. I've was testing some stuff on my buddy and he was hit by my melee. It did zero damage and only added the burn. Other times it works at intented.

2 RepliesAll male should be tested again by bungie.There are many situations when they arent registered. The worst when you try to shoulder charge and you go through enemy.

1 ReplyYou know, resilience affects the damage you take. So someone with max resilience is more likely to survive than someone at 0. I don't see this as a bug really

Fun fact: that bug has been here since the Sunbreaker existed. The exact bug transfer from D1 to D2. This wonderful bug is here to stay. I believed they have tried to fix it, they failed and any more attempts will damage more coding then fix it.

It's broken without a doubt. I'm sick of it too. I want to run my favored titan subclass without feeling like my charged melee is worse than slapping the enemy with a slim jim.

I actually hate that in order for Melting Point to work I have to shoulder charge an enemy. Why can’t I just punch something and have it proc?

2 RepliesYeah, solar melee on warlock doesn't do shit half the time too, although we at least get the damage. The effects just seem to not want to apply on both of these melees sometimes

My melee usually works. My aim assist or hit registration seems to not exist at all tho. I admit alot of it is probably me.....but I miss opponents by stopping a breath short or missing a shoulder charge by hair a great deal. Same with sentinel throws.

In D1 it was even more consistent. If you punched someone chances were your melee didn’t even do anything, or you sent the enemy flying away with minimal damage.

I've been complaining about Mortar Blast since D2 launched. I've renamed it the Titan Tickle. The problem is that the melee portion of the charge doesn't trigger. As a result it's only the AoE explosion, which is laughable. I was hoping that the sandbox changes would of addressed this, but it went unnoticed. In short, Titan Tickle needs to be melee + AoE. Not just AoE.

I have shoulder charged straight through so many people in crucible even as a striker and not done any damage to them not to mention the actual melee not counting also. I have posted vids before showing it.
