Sathona (Savathun) is saying to Auryx and Xi Ro (Oryx and Xiva Arath) "Oh vengeance mine" before making the bargain to become the Hive. This is when they were still their original species, the Krill.

Really good write up as well btw, I went back and actually read everything you said and I agree, everything relates to the deep, which is the darkness. I also spent the last hour or so reading every verse of the Book of Sorrow, its very insightful. This could be an entire thread by itself when it comes to Savathun, i forget which verse, but its the verse where Oryx tells Xivu Arath to destroy the "wish dragons". I do wonder if Savathun, being the trickster, somehow got hold of an Ahamkara without Xivu Arath knowing about it. Dragon grants her a wish, she becomes even stronger than Oryx, then in a later verse it was Savathun's idea that the 3 of them, Oryx, Savathun and Xivu Arath split ways to grow stronger. Now we have a raid in Forsaken called Last Wish, with taken. I don't think its impossible that Savathun spoke to the deep, learnt the secrets to create Taken without having the plates of ruin and now she has Taken the Techuen we have seen.

Riven is definitely Maras Ahamkara (seems like there were once more than her in the Dreaming City). Currently, there is no evidence of Savathun having her own pet dragon, sorry. -Edit- : Now, Riven is probably taken, so technically she belongs to Savathun.
