Blink feels so much smoother and better with more distance. Maybe because I was using transversives as well.
Transversives are so sweet with the auto reload on run and mobility boost.
Attunment of chaos on the voidwaker....now that the grenades dont consume super energy to boost strength and lethality, why make us hold the button? Just make grenades stronger on that class because when arent we gonna want the strongest one possible?
Dawn blade feels smoother and swords are better too.

2 RepliesAnyone else notice the overall darker theme on visuals? Not just the tower, but a lot of locations look really nice with the lighting and whatnot. I'm on the Xbox, btw.

Charging the grenade is a necessary balancing factor imo. If I personally had to think of a further buff to void walker, it would be for scatter grenades to be redesigned to look and function more like d1’s, since these new chunky ones don’t seem to do anything, even when fully charged. It’s almost like their size prevents more than two of the mini bombs to hit the target at full damage, resulting in, usually, unimpressive results even with the buff they received. With all of that out of the way, everything else is amazing. Traversive steps are absolutely incredible, the skull of dire ahamkara is actually on par with the Orpheus rig now, dawnblade is much more user friendly during super, and stormcaller arc-buddies actually hit things now! Big props to Bungie. Speaking of Skull of dire ahamkara, we need an “Obsidian Mind” ornament! Since, ya know... it’s the same but better...

I don't really mind holding the button to charge the grenades, especially with the damage increase they get now. Overcharged Vortex Grenade damage goes from 25 per tick to 40 in Crucible.

Charging the grenades makes them extremely powerful and easily the best grenades in the game, I main warlock so Im totally fine with having to charge the grenade. I also say this because I got multiple kills in many crucible games my highest being 5 kills because of bloom and the crazy power axiom bolt gets when charged.

2 RepliesIt really sounds like all good stuff. The best of it seems exotic related. I couldn't help notice that the titan and Hunter both got buffs to their specials, the warlock however....just gets an onscreen rift countdown timer?! Have I missed something?

It would be great if we got 33% grenade energy back when we didn’t charge the grenade. That should be the payoff.

Boosting grenades feels natural. I want to choose my grenade strength. I like more options of how I am in control of my character, not less. I want this game to be deep and complicated. Simplicity is what caused D2 grief. Don't ask for it again.

6 RepliesGrenade charge change is great and the animation is a fair trade off, I just would like to sprint while doing it, you can't run or jump and that I don't like.

Warlock skating with transversives feels like D1 again which has alleviated a big problem i had coming into D2.
