Lol. Smgs have always been meta and that archetype of hand canons is really powerful at the moment. Ikelos hc, old fashioned. These are great clean up weapons right now. Kudos for using a skill based weapon, but you should learn what meta and anti-meta means. Anti meta certainly doesn't mean "some of the best weapons in the game" Disrespectful stare pulses, high impact scouts, semi auto side arms, fighting lion, linear fusion rifle, halfdan d, breach grenade launchers. These are anti meta weapons in their respective class. And the pulses and scouts might be good, especially for clean up I'll have to do some more testing.

They weren’t that powerful. If they were, there would have been far more WoSF7s and Ikelos. 180 HCs had a great TTK but they were immediately a 5 shot if the enemy was slightly out of range. Ikelos had a faster body TTK than 600 SMGs but had almost no crit increase.

Exactly. Bungie created something that required actual skill and all the apes from D1 whined and complained them into creating an unskilled shit show. Can’t wait to see how dead PvP is a month or so after Forsaken launches. Especially with Gambit, I may never play another match.

“All the apes from D1 whined and complained” Maybe because the “apes” who played and, for the most part, enjoyed D1 recognized that it had a much more superior weapon system that allowed for a nice range of customization and added more layers of depth and fun. The new D2 weapons system is the best we’ve had yet, allowing for a much deeper customization than we’ve ever had. And after playing around with it in both PvE and PvP, I can say with confidence that this is the most fun time I’ve had in D2 and am excited for Bungie to elaborate on it.
