How is something like shoulder charge a 1 hit kill? When throwing knife (extremely skillful) not?

38 RepliesShoulder Charge being a OHK in D2 is perfectly fine. This is because you have to get withing melee range of the target, and with the weapon slot changes, you can just get shotgun warrior'd from the face of the earth. If anyone can recall, you could literally never use guns in D1 and JUST shoulder charge forever. Throwing knives should NOT be a one hit because it can hit at EASILY four times the range of shoulder charge. If throwing knives were a one hit, Crucible would be an absolute disaster (more so than it is now) due to a certain exotic called Ophidia Spathe which gives two knife charges, AND Gamblers dodge which COMPLETELY recharges a knife to be used immediately. And using throwing knife is not as skillful as you say. I've been hunter main since day one of D1, and ever since, and I can say without a doubt that hitting a throwing knife crit is about as easy as tossing a beachball down a hallway. Throwing knife has literally a gazillion aim assist. While I agree that its damage should be restored to its D1 values, throwing knife should never be a OHK. If you're salty about being corner killed by shoulder charge, slap that perfect paradox on and delete him from the timestream, Guardian.
