So as most of you know the Hive are trapped in this symbiotic relationship with the Worms, the Worms grant the Hive immortality in exchange for being fed by the Hive. I'd like to propose a potential method to free a Hive (specifically a knight) from this symbiosis while still keeping the benefits that the worm provides without harming any living individuals. Step 1. We'll need the artifact of Timur. although it has never had any real explanation to how it works in the lore somehow it can convince Fallen, Cabal, Hive, and somehow vex to fight on behalf of the Traveler. With prolonged exposure to the artifact our test subject should be convinced to abandon it's ideology and fight on behalf of the Light. Despite this our test subjects still suffers the need to satiate its worm. Now comes in... Step 2. Feed the test subject orbs of light. When a Guardian uses an excessive amount of light they secret unused light that forms into an orb. A single orb of this light residue is enough to partially recharge the Guardian that created it. If we could find a way to distill or purify these orbs, it may be enough to temporarily satiate the test subjects Worm. While it does require an excessive amount of time and resources, it may be possible to break the Hive's symbiosis. Any thoughts?
