If I want to delete a shader, I want to delete the entire stack. 5 at a time is only slightly less stupid than 1 at a time.

The simplest solution would have been to have zero time delay when deleting from the cryptarch. It'd then even be ok if shaders deleted one at a time. But I'm sure that would have permanently crashed bungie's software because it's technically impossible and prohibited by laws of physics, even though that's how every other vendor interaction/exchange works. Source: once inspected element in Internet Explorer so I know how complicated code is ok?
