Move raid catalysts in Forsaken
Telesto and Sleeper catalysts should get a new, additional drop source in Forsaken.
Reason: the drop rate is already terrible [edit: for a prestige raid drop], nobody will be running a prestige raid lair on Leviathan once Forsaken drops.
Strike catalysts, world catalysts, and crucible catalysts are infinitely farmable. While they are annoying, we aren't going to be, for all intents and purposes, locked out of them by the dlc.
Edit: thanks for the feedback. Those saying the drop rate isn't that bad are correct, once you get to the chests. It's that the volume of Levi raid runners will plummet. I love my raid group and I'm sure we'll go in and run the chests occasionally, but not everyone is in that position. Also, for Bungie, I emphasize ADDITIONAL drop source; the Warmind/Osiris guardians still need access to it in the raid

The only raid catalyst that evaded me for a long time was Skyburners Oath - I got Acrius, Telesto and Sleeper after only a couple of clears after they released them.

5 RepliesThe Telesto and Sleeper catalysts shouldn't have even dropped from the Prestige Raids in the first place. Sleeper should've dropped from EP and Telesto should've dropped from killing enemies with Fusion Rifles or something else.

1 ReplyI say they they need to to be moved out due to the restrictions people place on raid groups like most have 20 plus clears must be a hunter who has A,B,C items, must be a warlock with A,B,C items, must be a titan with A,B,C items, must be max light level, must have emblem and the most recent thing somebody said to is that you really shouldn't do prestige mode if you have only had 3 clears in normal. I was doing eater of worlds. Why does the amount clears I have for an activity determine if I'm good at it or not? If i see somebody has cleared something only one or two times when something has been out for a long time I just think that person can never find a group that is willing to work with them or they are just to busy and do not have the time to it everyday. Honestly they should be moved for the shear fact that the endgame community on a whole is toxic on many different levels. At least with the experiences I have had.

1 ReplyYou know who will be running the old Raids? Anyone who want those catalyst. We don't know if old Raids/Lairs will help our light yet either. I get your concern, not as many will be running that content but there will be folks chasing the catalyst.

They never should have be tied to the raids in the first place. But you know, Raiders need more incentive to raid and what better way then give them something exclusive so they feel special.

2 RepliesHaving catalysts drop in RNG from activities is a lazy way to prod players into doing said activities. All catalysts should be earned from the Gunsmith giving Quest-lines to obtain them. Bungie = lazy.

I have a problem with these catalysts being put in the worst raid in Destiny history. Most people do not like the Cabal raid.

Yeah. Apparently the drop rate isn’t bad...!it was the decision to put sleeper and telesto catalysts behind prestige raid lairs to sort of coax people into those activities that was lame. I can see having the legend of acrius catalyst there, because it was sort of tied to the raid... the other two were just one of those shady decisions that we’ve come to know and tolerate, apparently.

The fact that all of the Prestige Raids and Raid Lairs are going to still drop powerful gear which means the content will still be relevant in Forsaken. Therefore, Telesto and Sleeper Catalysts are more than likely going to stay within there respective Raid Lairs for people to still go after them.

Remove those ones for sure and fully agree with taking them out from behined the raid. Only catalyst you should get from a raid is one for a raid exotic if there is one in the to collect.

I want ALL catalysts to be available from any activity or loot source. Don’t care if it’s “handouts” like that.

I literally got all three catalysts on the first run in all the raids. The drop rate is fine.

Catalysts only made me grind Faction Rallys. Show me what I get, and what I have to do to get it (specifics, not grind x) and I'm fine. Do something 200 times and may e itll drop, maybe it wont, isnt going to engage me.

8 RepliesI got burned yesterday doing a prestige NF. Telesto catalyst dropped. I grabbed it with the rest of my rewards. Watched it on my screen. Had plenty of space in all my inventory. Got back to the tower to add it (Telesto was in my vault) and no catalyst in my inventory. Not at post office. Nowhere. I knew I picked it up because it showed up with the rest of my rewards when I grabbed them. Jokes on me I guess.

I agree with some of that. I think the catalyst drop was good as a hard to get reward for season three but they should add them to be gotten elsewhere in year 2, with the exception of acrius. It is a raid weapon and so it's catalyst should stay earned there. The other two are not and maybe should be an additional nightfall exclusive reward.

It took me 3 prestige Levi's to get the acruis and 8 eow to get telesto and 3 or 4 to get the sleeper catalyst I would say keep trying I get your point I really do but at the same time they feel like they have q better drop chance then the other catalyst
