There are crucible catalysts in the game right?
How can someone play 612 crucible matches and only get one catalyst?

1 ReplyI've got the VW and JR, but after similar amounts of crucible have not gotten the Colony one. I got Merciless and Riskrunner from strikes. Still haven't gotten the Otherside sparrow to drop from 100+ strikes. My friend has had 4. It's not a reward system, but luck. Looking forward to never playing this game again. Waist of life.

The catalysts should be tied to specific objectives in order to drop as opposed to RNG - like they did with Polaris Lance make it something you know if you complete will give you the catalyst to then upgrade.

I’ve been fortunate enough to get the Jade Rabbit and the Vigilance Wing. I still have to upgrade them. Sadly they may never be put to good use by my hands. Lol

2 RepliesI got jade rabbit and vwing catalysts. The colony one has not dropped for me ans i have played well over 1k matches since they came into thr game. Also i dont know anyone in my clan who has had it dropped for them. In fact i have never even seen a review of this by youtubers or anybody. It might me glitched??

Two Saturday nights ago I was grinding strikes and saw three strike catalysts drop in a row. First Prometheus lense, riskrunner, then I got the cold heart. First time I’ve ever seen drops like that.

I don’t have a problem with the drops being so rare but just that most catalysts are garbage

Got the Jade Rabbit on first day first match and then nothing after that... even though I have reset valor almost three times (without 2x/3x boosts) and last night actually got the auto rifle from nightfall drop but no strike catalyst yet...

3 RepliesI play crucible and strikes quite a bit across 3 characters and only got Jade Rabbit in Crucible and Coldheart in strikes, 2 weapons I hardly ever used. I started to like the Jade Rabbit in Crucible though. The Coldheart went back to the vault.

All are aquired from wins with mida being rank 5 glory, ive had jade rabbit and colony so far

Bungie needs to bring back streaks, where the more strikes or crucible matches completed without going back to Orbit will increase the chances of a catalyst dropping

After it took 4800 hours for my first Gally, never chased anything again. No defined quest, none of my time wasted, period... If it has defined steps, I will play 24/7/365, but RNG drop specifically, won’t waste my time...

After countless strikes and countless crucible rounds the only thing I’ve had drop was duty bound. I’m rank 52 with the Zavala as well . And not one strike catalyst

I have yet to get either a strike or crucible catalyst. My luck for those in particular just seems to flat out suck. Maybe one day i will find one, in the dreaming city, that seems like a likely place.

[quote]How can someone play 612 crucible matches and only get one catalyst?[/quote] I have...um... ...I don't know how many I've played but I'm pretty sure it's not over 600, and I have two from IB: Jade Rabbit's, which I haven't finished because a while later I got Vigilance Wing's, which I worked on that week and then finished up during the SoH Crucible stuff. Also have two strike catalysts, Riskrunner and Wardcliff Coil, both I know I got well before those.
