Account Recovery Streamers in Comp
This specific type of twitch/YouTube streamer has quintessentially ruined the game. I cannot wrap my head around the fact that bungie openly allows these people to broadcast what they are doing and doesn’t seem to care. Not only has bungie -blam!-ed up the matchmaking and glory rank system to the point where quite literally no one wants to even entertain the idea of going into the playlist, they make it so the people who are trying are forced to go up against these streamers on a constant basis. What the -blam!- bungie? This is the game you want everyone to see? It’s bullshit. If there is a streamer who broadcasts their account recovery service THEY SHOULD BE BANNED AND NOT ALLOWED TO PLAY.

There's people advertising in the recruitment section of this app and they aren't doing a thing about it. They just say to report the user but you can't even do that.

1 ReplyYeah but how many are there and how many are large streamers? Answer: None. They are all small time, nobodies on Twitch so because of that Bungie is supposed to police twitch? That's not their jobs. Report them when you can if you find out their real accounts.

9 RepliesAccount recoveries broadcasting should have the accounts banned as its against TOS. On the side of comp though, no one plays it because no radar removes a good deal of gunskill from the playlist so you can often perish to someone you’d otherwise outplay 6 ways to Sunday. Also once you’ve suffered through it enough to get Claymore, there’s no point in staying unless you actually want max rank or like no radar(ew) in a game without sound cues.

Destiny is dead. They'll take whoever and whatever will stick around. They couldn't afford to ban a third of their player base.

No one would care save the fact that " insert shiny object here" is locked behind a perfect run, or a rank. If we can offer other ways to get that loot people won't care enough to pay for a recovery.

1 ReplyWhen you stream and play you always pull host and everyone lags to the streamers connection hence why they win so much. Ran in to some streamers in pvp when they weren't streaming and they got wrecked. Streaming makes you an online warrior

7 RepliesDon’t play. Same as trials. If you don’t play the streamers and account recoveries will have to play each other. Once everyone abandons it they will remove it like trials.

Getting anyone to do your stuff for you is disgusting and ruins the game for others. Anyone who participates in carries or account recoveries should be ashamed of themselves.
