  • It actually isnt. A legit player fails and gets banned for getting kicked, yet cheaters go unchecked... and the community just lets it slide and says oh, git gud... blah blah. Sorry, but if people let this go unchecked, they are as much to blame.

  • “A legit player fails and gets banned for getting kicked...” We’re you trying to say, *”a legit player’s connection fails and they get a 30 minute probation from Competitive” ? If you were, it’s better for this to happen than the alternative, which involves two major quality of life hinderances- players quitting more often & preventing consistently unreliable connections that fail too often from entering too many matches. Also, cheaters don’t go unchecked. If they are repeatedly reported for network manipulation and the evidence shows it in the network data, they will be banned. As a gamer, your duty is to report them.

If you truly believe that the reporting system works then that’s quite astonishing. With no information or feedback on the reporting process there is no proof that the system does anything at all. It reminds me of the close door button on many lifts. On majority of lifts pressing or holding the close door button does nothing however it was put there to appease users so they felt they had influence over when the doors would close. Bungie should be transparent about the reporting system and provide details of how many reports for each category, actions taken where there is consistency in the reports (I.e same gamer reported many times for same issue) and I would even say name and shame. Without any information there is nothing to quantify nor qualify how and if the system works, all it currently does is make the reporting player feel like they’ve influenced something.

  • My favorite is getting suspended for leaving a game when the game completed as it should 😑

  • It actually is. The immoral choices made by one group of people doesn't lessen the achievement of those who did it legitimately. And to say because of that you have 'zero respect' for anyone else with the weapon makes you a pretty sad person... With idiotic reasoning.
