Ishtar Sink, the main location on Venus is derived from Ishtar, a Babylonian figure in ancient Babylonian religion. Also Ur, one of the Worm Gods could be derived from the ancient Sumerian city-state of the same name which is located in southern Iraq.

  • Noice. I’ve edited OP to include that. 👍

  • Oh by the way, I have noticed egyptian hieroglyphics on a tilted pillar at the far left of this concept art if you look very closely. You could include that in your Egyptian Culture post.

  • Do we have a translation?

  • Well, I still have no idea what they mean but I also noticed an ancient egyptian script labelled on one of the barrels at the bottom right of the concept art.

  • So I just realised. I thought I recognised your name. Then I checked and we’ve actually had this conversation before. In the Egyptian post. 🤣🤣

I found it! The spiral alphabet. It is in the "U" box which is the first box at the fifth row.

  • Yes you right but I wanted to also discuss an additional egyptian symbol on the barrels or pots.

  • So the concept art’s “hieroglyphics” don’t actually match up to the Egyptian hieroglyphics. 🤔

  • Still it is weird to have human-looking statues along with human language symbols and alphabets in a location that probably belongs to the alleged ancient enemy.

  • Well it’s possible that this is a piece of concept art for a location such as an area of the Jovian moons, possibly aboard a war moon, or at some temple dedicated to the hive/5th race as seen through the green light and the pyramid ship in the background. As for the idea of human statues. You gotta remember that the Jovians were a group of colonists that were converted by the darkness. Similarly to the awoken, just no light was present. (I’m sure if I’m wrong, someone will correct me). Look at the emissary of the nine. She is a humanoid figure.

  • Well the symbols look exactly the same but the arrangement looks different.
