It's a fair idea but they can't increase the impact stat on the claymore because that's too much. High impact pulse rifles are going to probably hit enough to 2 burst with all crits and changing the impact on just the claymore would result in less crits needed for a way too easy 2 burst that would just get the gun nerfed again. But what they could do, is consider changing the archetype of the broadsword to say a adaptive or lightweight frame. Personally I'd love a Nightshade that had those perks.
