I think the only thing I am hating about this is the 5 resets. Other than that it looks like a reasonable grind.

a little steep and really tedious, but it will be a test of patience more than anything

It’s not really about patience. It’s more of a case to see who has the most time on their hands to get to max rank in Valor 5 times.

5 resets isn't too bad. As long as there's a double and a triple weekend every now and then. On either you can get a reset in like a day of play.

i wonder if that steps starts counting before you get to it.

Kevin confirmed on Twitter that it's 5 resets at any point that season, not just once you've got to that step.
