When my melee doesn't do damage but procs my cooldown for the millionth time...

8 Repliescan any 1 tell me why my solstice boots are not done even tho ive reached ledgend and then finished up to rank 6 then it told me i had to reset which i did still no boots done.

The melee has been broken since D1. Even in PvE a lot of the time the melee will just apply the burn and not the melee damage also. A burn that is weak alone

When you're aiming for a dude's head but then the aim assist goes wild and glues your crosshair to another guy because he dared to come close to your reticle and you lose a gunfight which previously would have easily ended in a trade at least.

I absolutely love throwing a nova bomb into a group of enemies and hit no one. Or maybe kill one guy out of four that should have all been killed. I miss D1 nova that actually was useful. I could throw it into a 6 man group and kill them all. Not this wimpy ass nova grenade. Also I love shooting someone first, having 2 shot in them with their back turned and the swing around and 3 bang me graviton even though they should be dead.

I always fail my melee's. I hit them, they don't die, they hit me, I die. There was one game me and my teammate melee'd a guy, he didn't die, but he managed to melee us both and we both died. This kind of crap discourages me too much to play pvp.

I killed an opponent earlier today with my charged melee, top tree Sentinel, and overshield never activated. It waa very weird.

Mine almost always procs damage but it acts like i didn't have a charge. The charge is removed but none of the perks are activated. Im not a computer wiz so what can cause this, is it lag if the hit was registered? Been like this since Sunsinger in d1 and Dawnblade is just as bad.

3 RepliesSomeone said it is to account for high ping players but it is simple. It is lag. They are matchmaking by throwing together anyone from any place on the globe and you hit where he was a second ago. You likely have a fine ping and connection. those you are now matching against likely not. We will never know though cause for D2 they solved connection issues by removing the ability to see them. Right now the crucible isn't worth the waste of your time.

4 RepliesLag comp It's all to compensate for high ping players. Everything u do has to accommodate them in order for an attempt of fair play at ur expense On their screen u may slow down, on ur screen all their inputs are late. Ur hit may never register because on their screen they have moved past the range of detection Ur input or reactions don't take priority. What the least common denominator sees does unfortunately Bungie has stated before that they don't intend to ever fix it, they can increase the range.... But laggers always prevail here hence the rampant cheating

1 ReplyThe thing with destiny is that it does not have dedicated servers. So this will be like this forever as long as so many players dont have a good conection. Or intentionally do so. Destiny, as much as bungie wants it to be, is not a pvp focused game. The majority of players dont pvp and the ones that do are not all hardcore as with other games like siege, overwatch, battlefield. Not to mention that D2 pvp is just BORING and poorly thought. So its up to bungie. Hell if you remember back at D1 you COULD see others conection. In D2 however bungie hid the conection bar of other players to put the dirt under the rug.

I just tried to slide hammer a guy on some stairs with half health and i guess his hitbox was lower than me so it missed and i got antioped.

1 ReplyI'm just gonna go ahead and say that solar titans still get shafted on their melee a lot. The burn damage will apply, but the melee damage itself won't most of the time. Screw the occasional melee miss, this needs fixed.

Yea I am pretty damn sick of my melees not registering I can't tell u how many times I've dies because of the trash hit detection in this game and it almost always seems to be a hunter that it happens with

3 RepliesYeah, i melee'd a Titan with this much health left (-), then he melee's me right after while I'm at full health no shield...............i die first then he dies after. He should've died right after i hit him with that little health left, but instead "latency " let him kill me before his death registered. This has been the norm for me with Iron Banner.
