Are there going to be any Buffs to the Titan barricade you put damage in Guardians can still walk through and not die and what's the deal with the lightning grenades
-
Not useless. It stops incoming damage. It's just not a 100% guarantee that you wont die. And, most people throw it up too late.
-
Really i find it funny when a titan pops that barricade after I put a few shots in em, they think theyre safe so I just rush in slide through the shield and cash hands until they die The only real issue ive seen with the barricade is the animation being a bit lengthy for something that doesn't last too long in PvP Then again, learning to place that barricade properly is what can easily make the game I cant tell you how many times ive lost a gun fight on alter of the sun (or whatever the map is called) purely because a titan places a barricade so perfectly

1 ReplyI just set one, and run away. Come back and some hunter is shooting it, and I kill him. Every time. It's like a magnet!
-
If anything, they need to reduce the animation time of Barricade and Rift. They should be much quicker than they are.
-
I think if you really believe the barricade is useless... There is no help for you. You will never find happiness in others because there is no happiness in you. I'd say your barricade is working as intended.

Edited by ClovenTrack620: 8/19/2018 12:01:41 AMbruh Barricade Buff really🙈? Walking through that thing is more deadly than walking Running through a Nova Bomb's Vortex, a Warlock's Rift deals 0 damage when you go through it, so if titans get a buff in that aspect then Warlocks should get it too
-
I like it

You need the feedback fence on for max fun. I dropped a barricade in the stairwell on vostok and meleed two people to death. They were confused as shit!

1 ReplyI think the reason the titan barricade lost some of its utility, particularly in pve, was because of lunafaction boots. Rally already sucked as a shield so the ammo reload sort of lost it's utility on it. As for towering barricade, it's got a good amount of health, but lacks ways to fight back against enemies shooting at you. They can see you clear as day so you inching in and out or left and right behind it is clear as day to all the players. In pve, it serves it's purpose well but gets sort of messed up by ai with splash damage weapons. What they should do is, is make rally barricade grant 15% damage resistance to allies peaking over the top of it similar to how guerrilla fighter was. This would allow players behind the shield to more safely peak out of cover and allow them to sustain their fire for longer to make better use of the shield. Towering barricade should only be clear to the titan and opaque to enemies. Allow players to make better use of their barricades so they can properly use it for peeking out for damage. Also increase it's health pool in PvE, because it can die pretty fast. One last thing, give it a better indicator of when it's going to break. Like it changing color only on the titans screen or a sound of some sort. It being cracked certainly helps, but can also lead me to believe it could have more, or less health than it really does. Actually, a small health bar should pop up on the left side of the screen to show it's duration left and health remaining.

Enemies can’t shoot through it Enemies can’t walk through it without taking significant damage
-
Infinite reload + cover is useless?
-
So you don't need to shoot through the barricade to essentially use the barricade to shoot through you just have to stand right in between the threshold. The barricade does not help you mid fight but it can help you mid misstep if you find yourself out numbered on a bad position you can start to deploy barricade before you die then you can use that time and you have to be quick because it's not easy mode Hunter but then you can use that time to run to the next piece of real environmental cover. . If they have to jump through the barricade to hit you you can take a step back and start unloading your submachine gun or anything else and you can kill them as they lose Life coming through to you A properly deployed barricade can allow you to fight multiple enemies at once negating the possibility for team shotting or at least minimizing. Don't get me wrong barricade is a little underpowered compared to Hunter capability via gear. Inherently speaking the Hunter and the Titan are about on par unfortunately the hunter gets a lot better options when it comes to gear.

Meh, it's not a super yet it takes 2 gg shots to break it.

1 ReplyUse the underwhelming khepri’s horn exotic for a mini buff.

3 Repliesthey've already stated it's getting buffed. It will be a lot harder to destroy and those inside get overshield and increased melee dmg.

So that is pretty powerful in itself. It's defensive with pretty good passive offensive ability. That said seeing towering barricade grant an overshield for allies as they pass through it would be fun. At first thought anyway. At the very least being able to deploy it in the air would be nice. I don't imagine anyone who plays can really relate. However I often throw AOE grenades up in a wall a little because player tendency is to jump when they see a grenade. So they just die basically, and having people rethink their approach further than "jump over it" would be nice as well.

2 RepliesClearly you can’t use it properly. Low skilled players don’t know how to use it

🙄False.

1 ReplyHelm of St 14 should blind people with barricades as well.

near death titan deploys barricade eris morn: dont fall like vell tarlowe did -walk through and punch the titan- me: puny barricade

Edited by Baalwulf06: 8/17/2018 6:17:17 AMI like to pretend it's just a big prismatic gravestone for my pathetic corpse since I either get splash damaged to death around it, or outright punched through it... Like everything else, cool concept shitty execution

barrier will become useless at the launch of forsaken. Just like shoulderr charge will have to changed to a one-hit-kill and the game goes backwards other things will need to be changed like barriers time to deploy and exactly what it does in general. Currently barrier is awesome and probably raises the skill ceiling of Titans higher than anyone else in my opinion. Unfortunately it seems the only Dev that cares is the one that balances the hunters for PVP so with the introduction of the worm crest basically reenacting the hunter stealth aim assist debacle. If you were to add this exact same effect to Alpha Lupi instead of making a betta loopy second to the worm husk you would find Titans are way Superior to Hunters in many situations. But well never know what could've been.

I think it could be a little strong, and the animation a bit faster, as well as the way its placed... holding the crouch button is dumb and makes you slide if you try placing it in a hurry... why isnt it hitting the crouch button twice..
-
1 ReplyI seen something about shooting through it and the more players shooting through the longer it lasts.
-
1 ReplyIts hardly useless. Sitting behind it unloading 5 rockets into calus without reloading is fantastic ... i can give you a gift 🍼
-
1 Replymake it so you can't take AOE damage and give it faster animation and bamn done
