Why is iron banner always control?
Is there seriously no other mode??
Edit: If anything they should make it zone control; that way people will actually cap the zones...

Isn't there a lore reason? I think Saladin is just a paranoid boi and wants to train guardians in holding down specific zones or something [spoiler]if only anyone actually played the objective :')[/spoiler]

Bungie enjoys people standing in circles. Currently the mode duck duck goose is in the early stages and will be your IB go to one day.

Yeah, I have even less reason to stay in games now as well once you get triple capped even though I'm literally on a point capping it. Team mates hover outside of the capture points and don't even kill, they go afk, etc. PvP is worse than I can remember it ever being and that's saying something considering I'm taking into account the cancer universal remote meta in D1 and the thorn meta. I have so little reason to stay in a game once I begin losing because it feels like I'm the only one trying. I end games with the fewest caps, why? Because I'm defending the only one we have so we don't get triple capped and locked out for 20 seconds, allowing the enemy team to establish an even greater lead. Ffs this is rediculous, where are the people who play the game properly?

No one knows how to play any game mode when playing IB so it doesn’t matter. Clash? No one knows how to kill each other Control? Everyone just kills each other. Zone control? Again, everyone just goes for kills.

I loved zone control. I hate this control. I prefer clash so I’m not required to do anything except make some plays.

Bring back Iron Banner gametype rotation. I love Clash more than anything else in Destiny due to the fact that you don't have to trust cruddy teammates to take points and actually possibly be good at a game. Let's hope they listen and at least bring back gametype rotation.

Because when they had Iron Banner Rift, people threw hissyfits. It was fun to watch, really.

People hated when it wasn't control in D1 so they made it control permanently. That's my guess, could be wrong.
