1 ReplyOoooooh it's going to have the same damn drop rate....low as hell. And I won't be buffed by .8% until a month and a half has passed. Just to find out the buff didn't work and drops are still low as hell. Mark my (hypothetical) words.

1 ReplyDestiny economy is straight up $hit. Dismantle any gun or weapon grants me 1 f-n shard. It takes 10 to do a weapon? Everyone tells me how they always get 2-3 for breaking down stuff! I can’t remember the last time I got three shards for dismantling stuff.

Also, you should get them back if you dismantle one that you've put like...ten into ya know? You should get at least five back.

I’ll just masterwork my favourite weapons. Lasting 0.25 seconds before getting two shotted in my super over lasting 0.20 seconds isn’t worth it to masterwork armour.

8 RepliesYou'll have to put a lot more thought into what you want to masterwork and save them for your favorite gear. Better Devils with Kill clip (or rampage) and outlaw here i come....

A handy tip for people who are able to complete the Solstice legendary armor on all three characters you get 75 Masterworks cores. You can hang on to them rather than use them to Masterwork the Solstice armor.

If you actually paid attention, you would know they are already doubling the bonus and allowing you to switch the kill tracker at will.

4 Repliesso apparently after the crucible stream, it was 'theorized' (dont know what other word to use) that getting a weapon to max masterwork will cost 17 shards total. the first few levels don't cost any at all, while it increments by 1 or 2 at a time (so its a gradual upgrade progression instead of collecting 10 1 or 2 at a time yknow)

As long as it grants orbs early on in the leveling, I don't REALLY mind a ton. It makes sense that maxing a gun out should happen over time, especially if it's your go to, but I want to get those orbs on other guns I'm just playing around to mix it up or use for specific activities.
