1 ReplyMeh, I just wish they'd give us something that's actually useful in game rather than another generic armour set. In most other games I'd grind for gear that makes me more powerful or something to make content easier, like an mmo. But for some reason they attached a huge grind to what is essentially a cosmetic that shows you did some really menial tasks.

Nope. I'm happy with my 235 score. I don't care for these mechanics heavy raid and two long strikes (lairs), unlike the moments of triumphs from Destiny 1, I just have no drive, want or whatever to do these in D2. The armor in my opinion looks like -blam!-ing ass, the bad kind of ass. I did do the redux mission, they fun once buy I did it with my normal armor, I can't imagine doing with the green armor. Just eh. I can wait the 2 weeks or whatever so I can reach 400 light and higher. Not in a rush and it's not even infusable so its a waste for me.

31 RepliesNO i havent even started, you want to know why, everything is locked behind Nightfalls and Raids. I have no clan, i have no friends on here, PERIOD, i am a solo player and i have so many things i wanted to finish on here but i cannot be bothered now, whats the point really, congrats to all the ones who have completed the sets, you have done something i will never do so my cracked armor will stay cracked forever. i did actually think this event was going to be about the campaign only and all the other things that you could do as a single player, how wrong was i!

3 RepliesWow. All these people crying about the grind and wanting everything handed to them. I have a career, two young children, and limited playing time. As of today, I have the legendary set for my hunter and titan. I have the remaining month to level up my 100 power warlock that I never use and get the legendary set. I REALLY want that ship. Where there's a will there's a way.

You all know the armor set will be useless the second forsaken comes out right? It's got no infuse slot so you'll start getting blue gear that way out-levels it on day 1. All this time you're spending on grinding is for something that you will end up putting in your vault and never using again, unless maybe you want to have a dance party or something.

I’ve been reading the lore pieces on all 15 armor pieces on the armor I’ve grinded. It puts in perspective the characteristics of our guardians, selfless, and dying for the city even without light. The theme of D2 when it launched was “what are guardians without the light?” And these lore pieces are saying that they haven’t changed, while Ikora, Zavala, and Cayde were terrified to lose their one life, there are dozens of guardians who weren’t and died for the city, probably to be forgotten. It reminds me of the description of one of D1’s trials weapons, making us question if the traveler intentionally chooses guardians who are naive, and naturally obedient and gullible. These armor pieces prove that but in a very heroic way.

nope and i'm not finishing my armor in protest because it requires the use of the crucible i'm not wasting my time with it its not worth dealing with the crucible at all.

Got all three sets and the ship. No masterworks though. Did it all solo except guided games for nightfall. Apart from the pvp parts which were hell, I enjoyed the crap out of it. Love me a nice pve grindfest.

Got the 400 Legendary Armour for my Hunter & that'll do me nicely 😊 Mostly solo player, so no raid stuff but I've had a good grind & got to 360 so I'll have my t-shirt 😊 I was initially sceptical of getting past the first set, but hey... Turns out it wasn't beyond me after all 😉😋 Good Hunting, Guardians

Such a nice post. =D I have all three sets, and my hunter is masterworked. No plan to masterwork the other two. I also have all three sets of glow for my armor.

Didn't get them since it seems they will be obsolete once September hits and I don't have any huge desire to collect stuff in video games that is of little use to me.

I got legendary sets for all of my characters. Don't really care much about masterworking them but maybe just at least one character though.

I have all 3 Legendary sets. Not worried about Masterworks. I wouldn't do a Prestige Leviathan to upgrade the chests anyway, plus as soon as Forsaken drops, my quest for 3 whole new sets of armor begins.

I have completed gear with solar, i just need arc and void glow now. Ive put some pennys into the start of D2 and i might put some more pennys into D2 after forsaken drops. I do not mind spending on something i like.

Upgraded my titan set to legendary. Still working on masterworks. Had a good time grinding and also helping out clan members/other guardians with redux missions.

excellent video - reminds me of every trailer for the game - Looks Awesome. (without sarcasm - it was well done.) gets into Solstice - finds out it's nothing like the video, want to cause life ending injury to self. pretty much a duplicate of Bungie. (full on sarcasm) in truth though, you made an excellent video (Piano work was clean - swipes feet back and forth across floor).
