[i][b][u]Please Read This First: [/u] Before immediately typing a comment talking about it being only being cosmetic, or that I am some guy who simply does like not microtransactions or someone who wants to continue the scorned #remove_eververse buzz (which is pretty much dead now). All I want to do is share thoughts I made based on what on experience and knowledge why Eververse seriously has taken over the game in a way that you may not know, so please read carefully, and take your time before commenting![/b][/i] [u]____________________________________________________________________________________________________[/u] It is sad that the D2 loot system and builds on Eververse due to how shallow it is. In D2, they made most of the "endgame" revolve around Eververse even more than D1 by making gear like armour pointless by removing perks including awesome, unique perks you get from Endgame activities examples including raids and Trials. By doing this, would only or mostly care about looking dope instead of "being powerful", and that is it. We as players can either wear a full suit of raid or Iron Banner armour in D2 only to show off accomplishments made or wear anything else that would make you look cool like our guardian is a Barbie doll. Also in this TWAB, the guys at Bungie are expanding on it by giving bounties, man, a long time after the #remove_eververse phenomena during the 'Dawning' if it deserves that name. (Dawning used to be a fantastic Holiday live event due to adding more to do like awesome loot and expanding on the game like Strike Scoring which they combined with the weekly nightfalls to have a chance to get the Icebreaker) In my opinion, this game's future does not need to continue entwining with Eververse anymore because it is making this game shallow as Overwatch, and this was supposed to be a shooter-looter, not Overwatch! Eververse should at least go back to what it was before D2! So here you go... Destiny 2 is able to make Eververse more of a thing than before by taking advantage of the pointless armour and loot due to it being once a core thing in D1 which now is now destroyed. edit: Edited to sound a bit better.
