• Hi, I posted this for a couple of people, who said it helped them: I got stuck at two left. I was following the simplified table from fuzzy bearbarian's video. https://i.imgur.com/VXYAZfk.jpg Basically, I used the first option, then if I started getting a string of descent ones (I was targeting dynamo), I would switch to the secondary option. After struggling for a couple of weeks, using this method I got the last two in a couple of days.

    • Thought this "grind" was one of the crappier ideas Bungie has come up with.

      • The bigger joke are the idiots actually doing this for a -blam!-ing emblem 😂

        • you grind for an emblem, that tells you how many you have collected. point? - NO. like getting a ghost shell with "your vehicle takes less time to summon" - on Mercury.

YouTube CheeseForever & www.d2checklist.com Have a look on D2Checklist then follow below... When stems are combined they provide an override for another area, so make sure you're in an area where you have found all the nodes. I found Olympus Descent was the 1st area I cleared & only combined stems there. First of all fill up your Consumables with anything you can buy, Scout Reports & Cayde's Stashes but make sure you have your collected stems there too; you can only have a single override in your Consumables at any one time. So for the cheese... Once you combine 4 stems they'll go to your Postmaster but the only limit is how much space you have in your PostMaster so you can collect more overrides. Try & keep at least 1 stem in your Consumables for your next stem farming... Go to your preferred App or the PostMaster & cross reference the override codes in D2Checklist with what you have with the ones you're missing. Dismantle duplicates & move a missing override to your Consumables then go find, move another & do the same. Keep doing this until you've hit the 40 required.

          • This should help alleviate the grind somewhat. When I was at 39/40 I had to collect over 450 resonate stems to get my last unclaimed node. ~TheGreatNike

            • I believe that video games are for entertainment, and not to prove anything, whatever that may be. I, and very likely most people, wish to spend some time unwinding after a hard day’s work. To play to undertake a pleasant and interesting challenge with nice rewards, and not to become a chore. To relieve some of the frustration that we get in our daily life, and certainly not to become even more frustrated. I am aware that some don’t work, have plenty of time, and play all day. Some may be willing to go to ridiculously extreme challenges, not matter the frustration involved. Games are just bits of data after all, and can very easily be programmed into impossible missions. Game makers should be aware that altering a game on the cheap to please the fringe (and hoping to raise sales), would introduce the frustration element, or worst, render the game into a forever hard grind with useless rewards; quickly shunning away most other players. The obvious consequence is plummeting sales. Here is looking at you, Bungie.

              • this is honestly the best way to get them. do the futurescape lost sector over and over again. do about an hour a day (or as much as you can before going mad). stack up about 400-500 stems. go to d2checklist.com and find out which node you're missing. go to a different area than what node you need. start combining. to get my final 2 nodes, i combined around 700 stems.

                • Well i had them memorized so when i popped one i could just delete and go again. I knew the one i needed but rng refused to cooperate. Until it didn’t. Now i have a huge, useless stack of stems, or whatever they are called. If it makes you feel better the whole thing becomes pointless beyond the weapon quest. All you get is an emblem.

                  • The only tip I know of is to not create the override frequency in the area you still need to collect a node in. I'm at 38 of 40 with the final two in the Dynamo so I never build one in the Dynamo. Beyond that it's just a matter of grinding it out.

                    • Fill your inventory and create them in orbit or away from mars. I did hundreds of those things from 33-37 until I did that. Last 3 after filling inventory weren’t duplicates 🤨

                      • The strangest thing happened tonight, I was looking through my Emblems and noticed that the progress bar was gone from my Node tracker, so I equipped it and it changed. I remember making a few frequencies yesterday and there were 2 that I wasn't sure I'd ever had before so I found them. Just didn't think about it. 1 of them must have been my 40th. So glad that's finished.

                        • Finally got my last two right in a row. I thought they must have patched the frequency of duplication but seeing this thread means I just got terribly lucky. It was a grind; good luck everyone!

                          • If you keep getting on the same one, go to that specific node when creating a new code and (it should) send you to a different area

I gave up on trying to get all 40 when I saw the reward was a useless emblem. I think I was around 23-25 at the time after doing them for the weapon quest. I had done some before getting to that step of the quest thinking I was saving time only to see I had to get the 15 when the step was active. What I have been doing since then is trying to get the Braytech auto rifle and the duplicate thing is very annoying even if it doesn't factor into getting the weapon. I think I had to go through 12 just to get 1 new one when I was at 29. I believe I have 31 or maybe 32 right now. Still no AR and given I'm taking a 2.5-3 week break until Y2 hits, I'll just accept not getting that weapon. Bungle really needs to tone down their love affair with rng being everywhere.

                          • ok prepare yourself for the amount it took me to collect all the nodes. 500 times i combine those resonent stems. thats 2000 resonent stems. my best advice would be do your best to learn where they all are and dont be on the same map as the ones you need. i also heard that before you go to mars combine them in orbit for a better chance at ine you dont have. or even go to one area where you are sure to have gotten all the ones there and always do combining in that spot. on a side note my last one took 2 weeks and was a repeat that had been given a different name. may mean its worth opening each one everytime even the repeats. GOOD LUCK ,, I MEAN "GOOD RNG" to you.

                          • The frequencies are determined by wear you create them on the map, move to different areas to get different frequencies

                            • I've probably burned through 400 to 500 stems to get from 38 to 39. I dont really grind them, I just save up through normal gameplay and make some frequencies after a few weeks.
