Did you switch or make a new xbox account before halo reach came out?
Because unfortunately you're screwed as there is no way to change the date.
Unless you use the credentials of an xbox account that was properly registered during those days.

I actually have the OG xbox account still linked to my profile. I've had a few name changes since then, but its still the same.

I've had a few name changes since then, but its still the same.[/quote] Having the xbox account exist at the time of halo 2 Is NOT the same thing as registering your Xbox Account to the old Bungie net site at the time of halo 2 I was there during halo 2 I was like 9 yr old or some sh!t but I was there But I never registered my xbox account to the bungie site prior to halo reach which is probably what you did.

My profile currently shows my signing up 2 days after the release of Halo 3, and I know for a fact I was on way before that.

Well aware of that. Actually had my stepdad register online for the 7 pillars emblem I believe. I also checked match stats regularly online, so I know I was registered back then, with the same XBL account.

People have made the same mistake in the past where they tie their xbox account and accidentally make a new Bungie Account. Yours and mine are 9 days apart and are one month after the launch of halo reach btw.
