Bungie, you have one month till forsaken drops. PLEASE implement a way to customize your character after you've created it. Being the multi-million dollar company that you are, it CANNOT be that difficult to implement a system like this. It is completely pointless to force someone to keep the same visuals for well over a year after they've made it. I think I can speak for the entire D2 community that NO ONE wants to make a brand new character because they want to look different. PLEASE Bungie. This is a final plea, asking for a favor. Think of the children... Thank you.
-Your Loving Fanbase still holding on.
-
Meanwhile Bethesda is allowing your character to change genders inside of the post apocalyptic wasteland.
-
I want to make my titan exo's head blue, so he can look like Optimus Prime.
-
It would make sense for we Exos.
-
As I’ve said in another post, Monster Hunter does this with no problem, and that’s a game that has fully-covering helmets, so the “you have your helmet on 90% of the time” excuse is a convenient cop-out. They can’t expect us to believe that this character is supposed to be us (with the mute excuse) and at the same time limiting options to make the player character truly ours. It’s just being creatively lazy in regards to the player character.

Considering how much we can customize our characters, with all the sharers, ornaments and different armour, I'd say we have enough cosmetics. Destiny is fast becoming the "dress up Barbie" of the looter shooter gaming world. I personally think bungies time would be better spent creating more whisper like quests. Instead of implementing ways to decorate our barbi.... guardians.
-
There's no point in me editing my character unless Bungie adds beards as an option.
-
Yes I mean my 9 year old plays roblox and he can change the appearance of his character at will, wtf?!
-
Yeah lets just say my characters keep there helmets on
-
I remember I was hyped for D2s character creation before the game came out. There was literally NOTHING about it so I thought they were keeping it a secret for a big surprise. What I expected was something on par with Inqusition. What I got was a copy and paste from D1 with nothing new added.
-
Been asking for this for years... and better customizations but alas nothing.
-
Edited by MewSixUwU: 8/11/2018 4:11:47 AMive been asking for this for years and have remade my characters like 6 times..
-
That's too much to do within a month
-
What they need to do is update everything .... all the settings are the same as D1 & who ever choose the facial features for humans has no taste in art what so ever
-
Edited by Shirokuro Okami: 8/11/2018 9:21:26 AMI think their worst lie to us out of everything was the warlock in the destiny 2 trailers. The dude had a beard and yet here we are... So alongside being able to edit certain character traits, we also need a lot more variation in hair... Possibly hairstyles that don't make you look like a nonce? Better facial features would be greatly appreciated as well...
not being mute the whole time would fab too...
yeaaa
-
4 years and they haven’t done it, they don’t do it, so stop asking
-
Did you make a terrible looking character and now regret it? Lol
-
Yea let’s add tits and butts bundles on tess.
-
They’re putting an item in that boosts a fresh character up to the recommended requirements for forsaken, pretty sure you can only get one though
-
I want as many customization options as SWTOR.
-
They’ve confirmed they have no plans for character customization in forsaken
-
They won't. Why should they? People are hyping up their weak ass dlcs more than red dead redemption 2.
-
I’m totally on board with that. But I usually just keep my New Monarchy helmet on.
-
I wouldn’t mind fixing my ugly warlock face, but usually I just put on a helmet
-
Yes please
-
Imagine if they gave us customisability like those Korean MMOs where you had 48 hair styles, 20 types of eyes, 32 lips, and 76 different sliders for face shape and structure! Then you wear a helmet.
