Do you think anthem will be the bullet in destinys head
Not sure about the game. But hearing it might put destiny away

I doubt it. Destiny has committed suicide several times but someway it survives.

2 RepliesBoth games can live side by side, if you’re incapable of playing both games then that’s a “you” problem. Destiny has the smoothest gunplay on the FPS market currently that alone makes it stand out

I think Anthem will be an overhyped failure thought to be one thing but turns out to be less of what fans expect. Just my thoughts.

Destiny held a gun to it's own head and pulled the trigger with D2. It didn't need help from anyone else.

As ive said time and time again, destiny wont die until it actually has no one playing. Every dlc people come back, so the chances of it dying aren't high

It'll be another game people forget about in a week to a month. It's another triple AAYYY game made from graphs and general consumer data. All done by a team of people that would much rather be doing something else but have no real choice because they have themselves to support at the least and try to care as they do it.

4 RepliesDude with EA as its publisher Anthem will be doing great not to crash and burn at launch because of some microtransaction scandal. And Destiny doesn't need help dying, Bungie is doing an exceptional job of killing the franchise themselves.

Bullet in destinys head?... You realize destiny is not the most played game on either console right?... Plus why does it matter? Are you not capable of playing more than 1 game?.. Did you know that i can play Destiny 2 AND pubg? Shocking... i know

The Division didn't kill Destiny. Warframe didn't kill Destiny. Even Fortnite hasn't killed Destiny. It doesn't stand to reason that Anthem will kill Destiny. Really, the only game that can kill Destiny is Destiny.

Anthem will probably have a better story, but worse lore. Better open world, but worse gunplay. Better customization in "classes", but less unique.

I think Anthem is going to be great, and Destiny is still going along. Neither game needs to kill the other to be a success. If anything I hope the bioware storytelling will show bungie a thing or two and get them to improve.

I don’t think so myself I’m still optimistic about Destiny (might be the only one at this point.) and anthem is still a ways away. Plus, there’s no telling how the launch will go it could be great, just okay, or fall flat on its face only time will tell.
