Why was there zero gameplay of warlocks in the combat reveal?
That's actually stupid...
They should have included at least a few min of 1st hand gameplay.

Only logical reason.. They needed to sell Titans on the whirly hammer and they needed to sell hunters (and haters) on their new "blade dancer" classes. Warlocks are obviously unsellable. Would've been nice to see the new anime void zip flash boom die though... Looking forward to dabbing (👌) around with the Well of Radiance though.

2 RepliesIn many ways this actually explains a lot. I think we can all without a doubt conclude that the people playing on the stream were not very good... at all. Clearly they don't actually play the game, at least not like we do (as the consumers). And more than likely very few of them ever play as Warlocks. So because they are such terrible players and all they play as is Hunters and Titans... it kinda explains why Hunters and Titans are FAR superior to Warlocks in the crucible (I main a warlock, and it is ridiculous how much of an advantage the others classes have in virtually every way). Since they mainly play as Hunters and Titans and constantly die/cannot do well, they probably tell the people in charge of balancing: "Hey, Hunters and Titans need a major buff, we can't kill anybody because these classes are so underpowered!". As a result, Hunters and Titans get buff after buff after buff, all the while Warlocks are left in the dust because there is no play-testers actually playing Warlocks and speaking up about how underpowered they are in every aspect.

They were shafted. I think bungie gave up on warlocks and their mains. Even the few buffs warlocks got were underwhelming. Woohoo, an alternative rift that’s useless against shotties/ snipers. And finally buffing empowering rift, which will be useless with OHK weapons running rampant. Why the fu** would you make empowering rift not affect crits for an entire year? And are you morons ever going to increase the rift animation? Don’t you see how that problem is going to be even more apparent next season? Get a grip. Stop ignoring the least used class.

31 RepliesI’ve been saying this for years, but Warlocks are clearly the bastard child of the three classes. They get the least interesting armor IMO, and get the least amount of attention when it comes to official coverage. Also, I can’t think of one streamer that mains a Warlock and we all know Bungie caters 99% if the content they create towards streamers and content creators.
