On the annual pass it says that we will receive a dlc called the joker’s wild. Now i used to play cards with my friends all the time and this term rung a bell. So I looked it up and I remembered it is when you replace a damaged card in a deck with the joker card. How this relates in destiny? Well we know Cayde dies in forsaken and he is quite familiar with aces. So the damaged ace will be replaced by the joker card. So this dlc may follow the new hunter vanguard (probably shiro-4 in my theory). I wonder what this means since other card games the Joker is considered the trump card and can pretty much be the reason you win. the joker itself is known to be mischievous and a prankster of sorts, does that tie in with it? I don’t know but this is just a cool detail I wanted to share. Share your thoughts. (Just wanted to add, people mentioned that this isn’t a dlc but actually a update so maybe this means we will actually be getting the hunter vanguard in this update meaning cayde will not be replaced straight away. You might have to find a certain hunter that can be the vanguard. Don’t know just speculation. Also I think black Armory will release the black rarity. And Penumbra is the first phase of the eclipse, meaning this update will lead into a dlc about something that will bring darkness and if there is this place on mars called penumbra it may be about Savathun. Penumbra is also Spanish for gloom. So a glooming threat or whatever.)
