I've read so many topics and see so many different load-outs but things have been buffed or nerfed so its a little confusing.
I've been thinking using top tree hammers with synthoceps would be good for pvp. I've never had any experience with any other tree for pvp, and I do melee quite a bit.
I seem to get killed from a distance quite often in pvp and I drop rather fast.
Pve I would normally use top tree hammer and then whatever makes my light level higher, but leaning towards using striker and Skullfort as I do have that helmet.
I read a lot about using exotic boots to be able to hip fire while hovering or getting the extra speed.
I do a lot of melee mostly in both pvp and pve.
For pvp I use Vigilance Wing and Conspirator.

Edited by BlaskiPlaski: 8/8/2018 4:22:41 PMThermite grenade, strafe lift, towering barricafe and top tree hammers with hallowfire heart. My stats are 3 6 8, 3 7 8 when i get a chest resilience mod. I use midnight coup (stability masterwork) with void positive outlook (range masterwork) and void (will switch to arc for all different elemental damage) ep shotgun (stability masterwork). I use the ep gear because it looks good and I use as many recovery mods possible and the rest resilience. Hammer strike works really well with ep shotgun since you activate trench barrel and melting point at the same time. Sometimes I switch my ep shotgun for whisper. I went for as much recovery and resilience as possible with guns I like that cover all three types of damage (void secondary, arc power and solar abilities). Syntoceps are also really good but I prefer having my grenade more often. Strafe lift makes you go faster and towering barricade is better for cover which is what i use my barricade for. Check my profile if you want to take a look. This "build" is great for pve and I would recommend it to anyone. Pick weapons you like though.

Good you main Titan let me PM you.

Striker titan with feedback fence. My stats are 7/9/0

My favorite due to always knowing how it plays. Is my striker top tree with synthoceps with a 5/6/6 just do what your play style likes

If you play Sunbreaker, try Ashen Wake with Fusion grenades. It hits like a truck.

Edited by Tâxx, Herald of the IRS: 8/7/2018 11:47:06 PMFor PvP i use Crimson, Inaugural Address, Perfect Paradox, Feedback Fence, and the top tree for each subclass (depending on what super i feel like using). I suggest using top tree Sentinel since you said you melee a lot. For PvE i use BrayTech Winter Wolf (or Nameless Midnight), Inaugural Address (or Positive Outlook), Sleeper Simulant (or Curtain Call/Perfect Paradox), Lion Rampants (or Synthoceps/Doomfang Pauldrens), and top tree Sunbreaker ( though i do play the other 2 subclasses on occasion).
Top tree Striker and Skullfort is gonna be really strong when Forsaken rolls around
2 RepliesEdited by hoppydied123: 8/6/2018 7:21:42 PMSo first thing you're gonna wanna do is press start, ok? Keep hitting the right bumper until you hit the settings, make sure you change your sensitivity to 1, then go up to where it says "change character" and pick your hunter. You'll be a pvp God in to time!

Don’t use titan. Best loadout! JK PVP - My load out: Suros, tone patrol/last hope (depends on map), main ingredient, actum war rig (suros is good but needs more bullets which is why you need this one). Hammers top. - Good load out: antiope, graviton, Sins of the past. All titans exotics are lackluster, but feedback and syntho are the only ones the help. Melee sucks in D2, which is why this exotics aren’t good. - Fun load out: sentinel top, better devils, fighting lion, Hawthorne’s shotgun, syntho. Difficult but rewarding and fun. PVE: - Hammers bottom is quite fun. The other 2 classes suck. Sunshot, midnight scout, sins, hallowedfire (or something like that). BURN!!

1 ReplyEdited by DiZ: 8/6/2018 7:37:37 PMDon't use a Pulse and a Scout at the same time. You're just asking to lose upclose or get hatemail for how far you are all game. You need a close range weapon for when someone finally closes the gap on you or you need to push Power or an objective in a smaller area. My main loadout for PvP on a Titan is Code of the Juggernaut(Striker), Hand Cannon, SMG, and Shotty to ape the world. Exotic armor is Dunemarchers. The more popular loadout is Code of the Protector(Sentinel) with Synthocepts. Use Suppressors. And I'd also reccomend using Towering Barricade and Strafe Lift. If you're using V Wing, pair it with a burst sidearm or SMG.

For PvP, it doesn't matter too much when team shooting with ANY weapon kills a player quickly
