Is the Solstice Armor worth it for Hunter?
I don’t particularly think it’s good looking armor but in the end are the light levels worth it? Started playing D2 a week ago (got surgery lots of time on my hands loved D1 thought I’d try D2 even with the lackluster reviews that being said I am enjoying it) and Im currently at 355 light anyways what do y’all think

No. You'll likely switch to armor with perks in Forsaken.

I think hunters look pretty great, and if you don’t like the color scheme use a shader.

1 ReplyIn my honest opinion, I think it’s worth. It’s not all that difficult to grind out. I just got back from a hiatus of the game to see this event and plow not only through the hunter gear but also the Titan. Yeah, Y2 is about to drop, and light cap is 400, but 1. It’s event gear you probably won’t get again or at all until next year, 2. It is a noticeable difference with drops and damage output, and 3. The gear looks sick man, my hunter has never looked this awesome. And applying your favorite shader makes you look even more unique. More than you’d think. Grinding it out has kinda made me get back into D2 and made me pumped for Forsaken. Kinda. Long story short, do it. It’ll be worth it.

1 Replythe armor is more of a trophy than anything else, it will be your highest power for all of maybe a month, once forsaken releases everyone is going to blow by 400 in an hour or less.

If you're going for it just for light level, then it won't matter since the light level cap is gonna go up soon and you'll probably get up to 400 quickly then.
