Specifically to Forsaken DLC Barons, is this the first time there has been female fallen or have I been oblivious the entire time.
Edit: Thanks to everyone who told me really appreciate learning about the enemy races in destiny.

2 RepliesIt’s true you don’t see many fallen women. And in fact, they are so alike in voice and appearance, that they are often mistaken for fallen men. And this in turn has given rise to the belief that there are no fallen women, and that fallen just spring out of holes in the ground! Which is, of course, ridiculous!

Is this a trap?

8 RepliesAnybody else notice Uldrens face near the end of that trailer looks a lot like the Queen? I know it's his sister but wouldn't that be some weird stuff!

1 ReplyThere was one baroness who would spawn in D1 after House of Wolves came out. One of the bounty targets. I think it might have been near where Randal the Vandal spawns.

Drevis, Baroness

There’s actually plenty of female fallen this is just the first one we fight in game
-
1 ReplyThere have been female Barons but that's about it. Seeing how the female Baron models don't differ much from their male counterparts (and I think their cries were also nearly identical), I'm pretty sure that few people would be able to tell the difference between each sex in the middle of a gunfight anyways.

2 RepliesThere have been quite a bit, including one directly in a story in the grimoire about Cayde and this one Fallen fighting Hive together. The Fallen was always referred to as “she”. Also a lot of Baronesses were around, but I can’t quite remember all their names. I think Archival has them all down there somewhere.

1 ReplyRandal is a female vandal. The community gave her a mans name bc they like to jump to conclusions

1 ReplySometimes on Titan in the Rig if you pick up a Kill Target Patrol Beacon it will send you to kill a Captain in the Arcology with Zavala telling you to take ‘her’ out.

Edited by NYC_InfamousNick: 8/3/2018 3:34:09 PMThe Taken captain at the end of the Whisper mission is female. Or was anyway... That's the only instance I can think of in D2, in D1 there were a crap ton of female fallen majors.
-
5 RepliesNo, there is definitely a precedent for female Fallen as important characters in the lore. Cayde-6 has a very memorable interaction with a female Captain that led to a lot of people hoping that we would see playable Fallen later on.
