What does Rasputin tells to Ana Bray in cutscene. Restored speech.
Rasputin uses reversed russian words while speaks to Ana Bray in final cutscene. Probably for some reason. But I always wanted to know what it means. So I reversed words back, and put phrases in original order. Now this speech makes sense, Lord help us..
"Bray sozdali systemu.. i sdelali .." - "Bray created the system .. and made (something)".
"No vash rod ispolzoval menya kak primitivnoe oruzhie." - "But your kind used me as a primitive weapon."
"Nakonets ya sozdam svou sobstvennuyu.." - "At last I will create my own..(something)"
"Ya budu svoimi silami (...) chelovechestvo." - "I will (defend???) the humanity on my own".
"Ya - Rasputin! I ya nashel svoe glavnoe prednaznachenie." - "I am Rasputin! And I found my main destiny."

4 Replies“I am Rasputin and I have no equal.” Yeah why do I get the feeling those words are going to bite the warmind in the ass? Imagine if another one exits and ‘wakes up’ by decides to go a different direction and two warminds go to war with each other.

Ah, it's in reverse. That explains why Ana Bray's talk and Rasputin's didn't match when I played through the Warmind Campaign in Russian.

Rasputin is like the kid who got carried in Trials and thinks he's a badass, so he starts talking mad sh*t. How many times have we saved Princess Rasputin again though, I've seemed to have lost count.

4 RepliesRasputin, a powerful AI needs to be self awear in order to better protect those it was built to guard. Many techniques were used to teach the Warmind but all failed....until. Ana Bray felt the key to self awareness and forethought for AI could be found in language. By teaching the AI the concept of communication and dialogue (not like other computers that work with binary on or off, but if something is observed in a state to respond) and to communicate on a advanced level, maybe the power to understand the will of others, even the universe, could teach the machine to learn from the past. To be the best guardian it can be. Rasputin accuses the Vanguard of failing to understand the will of others, instead only seeking to bend it to abide by the will to survive, to live, to be free, through war and aggression...... And then there's our guardian. Who doesn't feel the need to ever talk to the things and people it meets, just shoot. And apparently somehow, this is indifferent to the Vanguard. Who the feck cares what Rasputin says, this is the most stupid shit ever served up!!! Way to under pin a story guys.

I pretty much quit playing after that cut scene. I thought Rasputin said basically "I got this, the world doesn't need guardians anymore". Now I see you guys are all still out there saving the world (or spamming public events, or whatever). I might need to come back in 4 weeks or so :)

Thanks for this, even though it makes me a bit sad. It would have been so awesome, if Ana had lied to us. Now at least, we know for sure.

Really, it's only making it official canon what Rasputin's always been surmised to be doing for us anyway: he still fulfills his purpose as humanity's protector, but is not under humanity's control. As Saladin said, Rasputin is no longer simply a warmind.
