Solstice orbs not registering on gear
Arc orbs aren't registering on gauntlet set

The game seems to glitch out sometime. I played a full crucible match and didn't make progress, didn't get rewards. Whet to orbit and relaunched then things worked as normal.

14 RepliesPLS READ THE WHOLE DESCRIPTION! Lol. But seriously, in the description it says orbs collected in strikes. This reminds me of when teachers tell students to read the whole question before answering.

Okay first you need to have the full solstice armor set equipt, then, for instance, the solar orbs require you to collect them on the EDZ, so you need to switch to your solar class which in my case being a hunter is Gunslinger, while also equipping a weapon that deals solar damage, then you can generate the required orbs. Takes a while and having a fire team speeds things up a ton.

1 ReplyAt first, I had the same problem with Arc orbs, but those who commented above are right. It even says it on the helmet: “Generate Elemental Orbs by wearing the full Solstice Armor set during the Solstice of Heroes event.”

I’m having the same issue with my hunter. I’m at 90% doing strikes and then they just stop counting.... bungie I’m sorry but we waited how long for this trash ? U guys did a great job

Yep, i started collecting arc orbs in strikes and ended up with more on my chest armour than on my gauntlets

7 RepliesI'm having the same issue with the chest piece on my hunter, I did all the orbs for my arms and that counted, but after i finished the arms no progress went towards me chest piece.

Read the description on the armor piece, it’ll tell you exactly what to do to make the orbs register. I had the same problem until I read it thoroughly.

1 ReplyYou are wearing the whole set right? I assume you’re referring to your Hunter gloves after looking at your profile. My arc orbs have registered on my gloves. I’m sitting at 100%. :/
