No, getting rid of SBMM caters to whiny tryhards that want to pad their stats by playing 12 year olds with a .5 k/d.

Edited by Black Magic: 7/29/2018 7:51:51 PMBad teams vs Bad teams- players learn nothing. Both teams can pick up Bad habits from each other. Too much exposure to gunfire. Could potentially improve, but not as fast. Good teams vs bad teams- The bad team may learn something by watching the other team, but ultimately takes an L. Good team doesn’t have to try as hard. Little to no reason to take notes. Not really a fair match. Good team vs Good team- Both teams have room for improvement. Advanced tactics calls for smarter engagements. Close games. Matches may result to a sweatfest. Both teams learn something new at the end of the match. This is how I see the crucible.

See, there you go that's your sole counter. Even if that was true, so what? Sweats like to pad their k/d just as much as casuals hate getting stomped. So what if we do? Are you saying that it's not "fair" that we are better then you? So what? Why dont you go play competitive, then you'll play people of your own skill level? Your argument is invalid. You're saying its not fair to get whooped, and you want a built in handicap.
-
Kid, I play Halo. Every game I play is full of people as good as me or better. I don't whine about it like you spoiled millennials. If you're bad, you should play other bad players. If you're average, you should play other average players. If you're good, you shouldn't expect (or want) to play a team of turnips incapable of landing a head shot. Get better scrub.
-
Also nobody is saying there shouldn't be a ranked playlist. If you played halo you would know that. Ranked, and Social I'm going to not reply moving forward since you're clearly a poser, lord knows you're about as good as a staff captain <3
-
Lol were probably a similar age. FYI millenial is between ages of 22 and 36 so you've got quite a range for your insult there, so try again. We both know you never made it past force colonel. Take your nonsense somewhere else.
-
The more you know.
-
Quick question, how does limiting people to play with to people who are at a similar skill level as you count as a handicap?
-
It's a handicap because if you were placed into the general pool of players the best players would win more often then not, and the worst players would lose more often then not. Look at a game like fortnite. Why is it so popular? Why are all the streamers playing? Because there's no sbmm. The best players get to perform, have more fun, and they deserve that. Get better, lose less.
-
People like Fortnite because the battle royale game mode is the popular genre right now, and it is the free option, when compared to PUBG and others like it. It has nothing to do with a lack of SBMM. Your argument is flawed. Feel free to link me an article or some other kind of proof saying that the lack of SBMM is making Fortnite popular. And on the subject of good players deserve to have more fun; Everyone wants to have fun, and nobody has fun for very long when they are either stomping other players or being stomped by other players. Just because you are better doesn't make you entitled to having more fun than someone else. When nothing is challenging, all your victories become meaningless. Good players should be going up against other good players, and bad players should be going up against other bad players. Otherwise nobody has fun.

So it would get boring to always play bad people But it would also be frustrating to always have to try really hard Maybe that's why we should have a ranked, AND a social playlist. Hmmmmmm. Thanks for proving my point

Maybe you should realize that a lot of people don't want to play countdown or survival.
-
Maybe the better players dont want to play countdown all day either? Maybe the better players want to have fun too. Maybe fun for me is winning more often then losing. I'm entitled to that too. It sounds like you're saying people who've put in less effort to a game deserve to have just as much fun... So Doctors should make as much as cashiers then right? It doesnt matter that the neurosurgeon went to school for 10 years, the cashier is entitled to the same quality of life.
-
Well aren't you a ray of sunshine. You probably also complained about the sweats in quickplay, while also being a sweat, in other words, part of the problem. Everyone deserves a chance to win, and everyone has to start somewhere. The bad players only going up against the best and losing every match isn't going to make them any better.
-
Actually it will. The worst players should learn from the better ones, and to be honest I love playing with a few mediocre players so I can get more kills and mixed parties are more fun. Again your core argument is that it's not fair that the bad players are getting stumped. It is not Bungos job to defend the bad players. Get better, that's on you.
-
Here's the only link you need: the Destint App. Look at the playerbase, lol. That's what sbmm does to a game.
-
So you’re saying that the player base will explode now that there is no SBMM?
-
I'm saying that the forums are positive for the first time in a while, that's saying something. If you want a game with sbmm you are admitting that you want a game that protects you from losing. Sweats win plenty of games, removing sbmm allows us to win even more. We've put the time in, we've earned it
-
You just want the people that invest all their time and money into this game to win? Fine. Fair enough, at least I have a life.
-
Bad players vs Bad players isn’t worth watching.
-
Watching people get 50 kills is fun though. There aren't many montages in D2. Probably because its bare bones graviton lance every game LOL.
-
And I hate this meta. Can’t believe antiope hasn’t been touched yet.
-
I wouldn’t necessarily say that watching someone get 50 kills is a show
-
You wouldn't be saying that if you were one of the bad players. And I sure as heck don't want bad players in my match on either team.
-
You're right I wouldn't. But if I was that bad at games like this maybe I shouldn't be playing it? You act like if you dont have sbmm you're losing every game. The average player has a .9 k/d and approximately a 45 to 55% win loss. If you're a casual. You're going to have casual stats. If you dont like losing get better If you feel like its frustrating, dont play it, go play pve, go buy a non pvp game You are not entitled to have fun at all times on the premise that you're bad lol.
-
I’d throw myself into a sweatfest and see what I could pick up.
