New England area verizon fios

Been seeing a common theme today. Wanted to make a post and see how many others with verizon fios living in the new england area that are getting error codes all day.

    It is not just verizon I have comcast myself as do many others. This is NOT an ISP issue, because all my other games work perfectly and other have said the same. This has been happening since Wednesday night after the updates, from NY to Maine. This is a Bungie server issue but in bungo fashion they have no answers for us, if it's not bungo I apologize because it'll be even worse its mama Activision in that case. But they better figure something out quick with the depleted player base already I'm sure losing all of New England plus New York is not going to be a good thing for them. Not trying to sound over dramatic but you have asked your player base to pay for year 2 content and we happily obliged after already spending $60 to $100 on the base game and year 1 dlc's. But for the content not to even allow you to load into it when everything on our end is working properly is not okay. BUNGIE TELL US SOMETHING OR I'M AFRAID AN ALREADY HURTING GAME WILL DIE FOR GOOD...

  • Still cant connect. Almost 48 hours. Centipede, lettuce, cabbage over and over. Verizon Fios, Boston area. Why is no one helping us?

    • Signed in and playing as normal without a VPN. No more error codes, connection seems stable. Recommend others trying now.

      • RI here, been down since Sat am. Multiple connection error codes. Can't do anything with D2. Running FIOS yet everything else internet connected works 100%.

        • I’ve been dealing with this since yesterday. I thought it was the router, or the PlayStation so I rebooted both of them. But I checked Twitter and saw it wasn’t just me dealing with this. Extremely frustrating. I’m hoping Bungie can get this fixed, because the game in unplayable. Last night I would go to the Tower and nothing was loaded in, then I’d go to orbit, go back and one side of the Tower had no one in it. Then booted. Now I’m getting booted while on EDZ every few minutes or contacting Destiny 2 servers pops up.

          • I’ve seen at least 3-5 reports so far from users. Some are reporting things working again. One of them said there was a tornado (possibly several) in the area recently. That very easily could’ve disrupted some of the network traffic if it was at/near a hub/terminal station.

                • I have Fios and have been having the same issues as so many people above since yesterday. All other PSN stuff works fine. Tried a few other online games and netflix and they're ok. I'm just north of Boston.

                  • Still cant play. 1pm Sunday. Been over 24 hours. Spent an hour with fios rep they say nothing is wrong on their end. Bungie has been silent.

                          Same I live in Rhode Island and I have Verizon fios as well and it’s been giving me error messages a lot to I can’t even play it’s so bad

                          • This is ridiculous. I'm prevented from playing anything without having error codes every single time I join a group. Prestige raids, Escalation Protocol, Whisper of the Worm quest, nothing. And this is my free weekend to get things done in Destiny! Freaking Verizon FiOS.

                          • Same issues with Currant, Lettuce and Cabbage errors most of the afternoon. Was able to load into some social spaces alone but otherwise [u]BOTH[/u] my PC and XB One are unable to connect to the Destiny servers

                            • Currant has been the most common one i get. Ill enter a heroic strike, no enemies or teammates load, then ill get booted back to orbit.

                              • To everyone still struggling with connection problems, there are several free VPNs available with a quick google search, tunnelbear being a good one that gives you a free 500mb when you make an account. This will allow you to connect to destiny 2 with no error codes for the time being, at least until the storm (Verizon storm that is) is over.
