Then gave us the ability to enter the ascendent relm by disrespecting crotas funeral ( I know I know it's not a funeral) but yeah his funeral. Then killing the daughters of oryx as well as killing oryx twice! Then after that we dive deep into the dreadnaught killing alak-hul the foster son and unsuccessful usurper of the throne. And anyone who would be capable of leading the now leaderless taken/hive factions. (I.e malok and anyone who stepped out of the court of oryx) why go through so much effort to help us destroy so many high ranking members of the oryx faction...then just completely disappear to no knowledge of the vanguard? Flash to Destiny two and the taken have been growing. As proof in the EDZ strike where red legion has been taken..(why has this gone unexplored? like this isn't a problem right? I guess collecting faction tokens holds more significance in the tower these days) and with the savathun strike and the taken nodes littered around the system giving clues that she's here...I just find all of this to be lining up so strange. And miss I no longer have light....what is your fate that you've accepted huh?! An interesting idea. It could be said that all her hate for the hive was focused solely of Crota and his immediate family. But that would still include Savathune, unless Savathune somehow corrupted Eris, twisted her, or even replaced part of her with a hive worm? But the well known motivation for Eris was revenge, and so she was guiding us to kill all the hive who could have, or did have a part to play in the death of her fire team. The mostly likely Queen would then be Mara Sov who has been known to help guardians in the past, for a price. I am willing to bet that Savathune become a real threat we will see Eris again, or if she finds a way for us to kill the last of Oryx's kin, then she will surface again. Either way I still think the main idea presented is interesting, but I'd say it doesn't quite fit her character. After all Eris may look and smell like a hive accolyte, but she has proven to be there undoing.

It’s really up in the air for both. Regardless which “Queen” she is referring to I do believe it’s not in the Vanguard’s best interests. The Awoken do not serve us or care if we get wiped out. The Hive (those that still serve Oryx’s Sword Logic) just kill anything to survive. Either outcome is not good news for us. Personally I still think Eris really serves Crota somehow. His Darkness specifically infected her. Her eyes glow green. Not yellow or orange or a lighter shade even seen in other Hive. Just Crota Green. I mean wasn’t all 4 “Sisters Of The Deep” female to begin with??? After they made the pact with the five Worm Gods and agreed on now “Oryx’s” Sword Logic he exiled his lover Nokris........ Savathun Smavathun..... Maybe Eris’s “Queen” could even be Nokris....... I really feel that Xol is playing us. Nokris and Xol have created their own Sword Logic and something keeps “whispering” C R O T A to me. Plus the fact that Oryx’s lover was banished and erased from Hive history just for being a necromancer really sticks out to me. Maybe what we were witnessing is a 4 way power play here. Red Legion could be behind Taken. The Awoken could be behind it. Hell Xol himself now that we killed him. Nokris or Sav. It’s really all up in the air at the end of the day. (Especially considering the guy who wrote the story quit. Bungie will literally have to make it up from here on out to fit.)

Eris was speaking with Mara Sov, they had a meeting prior to the events of the Taken King. Eris went as so far as meeting with the Nine directly in the Ascendant Realm. Eris could not have been speaking with Savathun, to her knowledge, because when she goes aboard the Dreadnaught and discovers the statue of Nokris, she sends a letter to Asher Mir to see if the Vex have knowledge about Nokris as the World Grave had nothing.

<Eris is talking to Mara. They had a meeting on how to kill Oryx along with Osiris before the Battle of Saturn. They ultimately came up with the Guardian as the answer, but Mara had ulterior motives and it's completely unknown what Osiris had to do with it. Eris may look sketchy but she hates the Hive with a passion. That doesn't mean that she hasn't been tangled up in Savathun's strings, because the latter's been pulling a lot of them since the Red War. But believe me, she's alright.>
