I played a bit of D1, but I never bought any of the expansions. I played a lot of D2 and have all the expansions, and whenever I look through the forums people either say hunters are broken or that they are the worst class. Can I ask why?
-
3 RepliesBecause 90% of hunter mains use panicstrider in PvP. I mean seriously, gunslinger and nightstalker actually take skill, which is why I hardly see them when compared to arcstriders. Running through someone’s bullets and mashing the buttons on your controller does not take skill. But I guess you could possibly argue the same for striker titans and maybe even some of the panicky voidwalkers.

Cuz people are stupid.
-
Look at the source. Whiny tryhards or wannabe's who want to be the only kids on the block with a winning setup. They will NEVER run out of things to complain about.
-
Because Hunters are OP and people who main them rely on playing only the "Meta" and not true skill. Trust me, when I want to do well, I will play my hunter and I'm not that good in PvP.
-
1 ReplyShort version they are the easiest and most powerful class to play and Hunter "mains" still beg Bungie every single day for needless buffs.
-
1 ReplyI get annoyed with people who say Hunters are the worst class in PvP. I started playing more on my Hunter and it is soooo easy. I can always rely on my Hunter to get me plenty of high KD games.
-
wormhusk...not their fault just abused
-
Workhusk. It’s a smidge strong.
-
Because most of your whiny, sweaty tryhards who cry to get everything nerfed play Hunters in the Crucible.
-
People where use to kicking hunters ass in d1 because they were underpowerd but in d2 everyone is on the same scale of strength and warlocks and titans are mad And theres the wormhusk but even i hate that helmet and i main hunter
-
2 RepliesEveryone hates people who are mostly right....🤣
-
Because they are the strongest in the game in both PVE and PVP and Bungie refuses to place the other two classes on equal footing in each game mode. Doing PVE? Just use Shadow shot tether and Orpheus Rig or Arc Staff and Radion flux or Worm husk. Doing PVP use any class with worm husk. No other class in destiny has an instant health regen every 15 seconds for pressing one button. All other classes have to secure a kill to proc such a perk or drop a rift that you get every 90 seconds or so and its such a slow animation that there is no real comparison when compared with Work husk. The hate comes in when Hunters refuse to admit this overpowered advantage and call Titans or Warlocks cry babies or nerf herders. Any Hunter who wanted a better game for everyone should be asking for Buffs on Titans and Warlocks to bring them into the same zone as Hunters but we just don't see that.
-
2 RepliesBecause they are overused, crybabies, always asking for nerfs to others and asking for buffs to themselves, easiest class to play, bungies favorite class so they always get the best exotics.
-
2 RepliesEdited by Kazuma_Kage: 7/27/2018 2:30:43 PMBecause we’re the best singers, we’re the best dancers , we’re the best looking mother fukkers of all time. Hold my drink bitch. Hunter for life!

1 ReplyThey are all my favorite this debate is created on purpose its all a ploy for war, illustrated to offer disagreement and competition. Stay Woke
-
1 ReplyHunters aren’t the problem. It’s the people that play the hunter that’s the problem.
-
8 RepliesThey're just jealous that hunters get sweet capes while titans and warlocks only get bath towels and friendship bracelets.
-
Because they are seen as the easiest class to play
-
5 RepliesHunters are a relatively easy class to use. Decent Supers, plenty of useful exotics, and abilities like dodge and triple jump give lots of mobility options. Warlocks and especially Titans are more lacking in all of the above and with the general stigma around Hunter mains, Hunters as a whole get more unneeded hate than they deserve. Doesn't help that the communication between Bungie and their community is pretty shoddy too.
-
Coz hunters wreck lives, lives and noobs...
-
9 RepliesHunters are similar to pre nerf Ela mains in siege. Mostly toxic and extremely cancerous.
-
I mained hunter in D1 but I switched to warlock in D2. To me, hunters are meh in PvE (except raiden/arc strider and Orpheus/tether). I just enjoy warlock more now.
-
9 Repliesgenerally, people who hate hunters, are bad at playing a hunter.
-
1 ReplyPVE players don't care. The people complaining are PVP tryhards who are whining---like they always do---about balance. Hunter's aren't broken. They were just nerfed THE LEAST by Bungie nerfing everything (ability and supers-wise) into the ground for Destiny 2 in order to "balance" the sandbox and to give us a "gun-based meta". Well....when you do that....the class that was designed to be the most agile...and has the most gun-handling abilities and perks is going to have a slight advantage. But the size and impact of that advantage is blown WAY out of proportion. Titans are very much competitive with Hunters in PVP....Warlocks did get shit on. But that is across the board. Since they were the class built around their supers and abilities. So naturally they were hit the hardest by the nerfs.

Because in d1 every squeaky teenager was a hunter.
-
1 ReplyStems from d1. Hiding invisible around corners. 0 skill. And most of the time if someone is lagging its a hunter
