Hello, and thank you for your report. BIRD error codes can potentially indicate an exhaustion of resources on your local network. The first step to take would be to minimize the amount of devices on the same internet connection as your PS4 and seeing if that helps.
If it doesn't, please let me know.

Thank you kindly for answering. The only other active device is an ipad with the Bungie app. It’s still happening, and only in higher levels of EP.

Okay. Are you playing with the same group every time you get the error code?

Okay. The next step I'd recommend would be going through our optimization guide and advanced troubleshooting, to make sure there's no strange hiccups in your connection. If that doesn't solve the issue please let me know.

Problem solved. So, unfortunately I did a couple of things and I don’t know what solved the problem with EP, but I’ll put them here for others to try. 1) I re-initialized my ps4 and (obviously) reinstalled Destiny2 after. More out of frustration really. Didn’t think that would really help. 2) Since EP is such incredible mayhem, with a 9-man activity, I figured either my ps4 got flooded (hence the re-init) or that my router would think it was being attacked with all the incoming traffic and all. So I changed the settings on my router as illustrated in the attached image. I disabled IP flood detection and ICMP flood detection. I had three problem-free runs after all that! Thanks for your assistance!
