Best Raid Boss soundtrack?
We've all argued and debated endlessly over which raid is best, or which boss fight was best, but who had the most bumping soundtrack? Which theme gave you goosebumps as you faced off against the last boss?

Theyre all pretty good (except calus) oryx imo had best music, then riven, then aksis. Riven has the best (legit) boss fight, then oryx then aksis/argos (cos lets be real argos and aksis are exactly the same in terms of mechanics)

Beginning of Atheon encounter is just so nostalgic! Aksis for me though, it’s got the most energy and improves the battle too. Nice non-hateful post btw thanks 👍🏻

Aksis its just too badass, fron the begining to the siva bombs to the slam and dps its just pure ramping up the music.

Aksis had an amazing theme, as did the whole WotM raid as a whole. But, let’s be honest. The best theme is obviously Sepiks Perfected.

It layers pretty well too, it heightens when you're going for the damage phase and when the wipe mechanic comes in it gets foreboding. Crota is the only other on that list that I really remember because of the sword part, but one person is really part of that so yeah. As for the others, listening to them all I can think is "oh yeah I remember now". In other words they're forgettable.

Oryx and Aksis are both great. I actually listen to those tracks from the soundtracks in the car, because they are epic. :-)

While Aksis was cool, first time hearing oryx’s theme was like a “sit your silly bum down fool” moment and I loved it. Spooked the shit out of me and my fellow raiders.

Aksis for sure, but the entire WotM raid had amazing music from Vosik, to the Siege Engine to Aksis. They knocked it out of the park with the music in that raid.

1 ReplyI know this is for raid music, but are we totally going to pretend like there's any music in the history of the Destiny franchise that's better than the Bulb (Misha Mansoor) remix of the Sepiks Prime theme? I think the only way they could top it is if Stellardrone did the music for the Dreaming City area, or if Mick Gordon did a boss fight theme.

Ca’uor may be lackluster for 90% of it, but I’ll be damned if it doesn’t sound epic af during the second damage phase. Nothing beats Aksis, though.
