My game always freezes right when we're leaving a mission/pvp match. After the countdown finishes 0 and it's trying to push everybody to orbit to load the next said event. It'll freeze right at that spot. I don't know how to fix it. I used DDU to re-install my drivers. Performed force update for Windows OS. I thought maybe I had a memory leak so disabled XMP. But it still froze. My specs are the following:
CPU/Cooler: i7 - 7700K with Corsair H100i v2 AIO cooler
GPU: nVidia 1080ti
Memory: 16GB DDR4 Ram - Reads as 2133MHz in UEFI BIOS, but have XMP enabled to read RAM at 3200MHz
MOBO: ASUS Z270A MOBO
I don't require to restart my PC. Everything is operational. Pretty much have to Ctrl+Alt+Delete to shut the game down. I play Full Screen and attempted playing Windowed Full Screen to see if this would alleviate the problem and still didn't fix it. Blizzard app tells me that there's no repairs needed whenever I perform "scan and repair" for Destiny 2
I'm also encountering random issues recently with Alt+Tabing. My screen would go completely black except for the taskbar. I would have to log out of windows and log back in to get rid of it. I remember this being an issue in the past but haven't had this problem since launch.
All these problems started occurring just recently! So I do not understand what's going on. Please help!

you are not alone in this issue. I myself ( w a beast of a rig I may add ) also run into this issue. Its a sofware issue ( D2 ) not a hardware issue. Bungie need to sort this out.

12 RepliesI am having similar issues when entering a new activity and the countdown timer hits 0:00 (ZERO) except that the only way I have been able to actually close the game is to logout of Windows or shut down. 5820k (OC 4.5Ghz) - 16GB RAM (OC 3200Mhz) - 1080 Ti (OC +50Mhz Core / +500Mhz Memory) I have also attempted to remove all overclocks as well as underclock my 1080 Ti.
