After the ending of vanilla campaign I was expecting triangle ships of doom to be the big year 2 expansion. Was and and still am looking forward to it. Guess they are taking their sweet time.
Forsaken looks cool and all but doesn't have the " Threat to the universe" feel I was hoping for. Plus I could care less about Cayde 6. Yes I get it. Hes the funny one.
However, I'm really digging the space western feel of forsaken. I cant wait to gallop across the desolate plains of the reef on my trusty steed, searching for my next bounty. Serving up justice in this lawless land with pure cold steel!
Maybe we get triangle triforce army in year 3.

You see... they hit the other side of the paywall they are behind. Seeing they are alien, they have no earth money. Thus, cannot pass until it is opened from the other side.
-
More like D3
-
Nah they just getting lunch at the breadnaught intergalactic diner.

1 ReplySees that they are stuck Sends them Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy Checks his Swatch watch and takes comfort in knowing that arrival is as guaranteed as gas after a long night of drinking and Taco Bell.
-
They have run into an invisible barrier Bungie put there to stop people glitching out of the map.
-
1 ReplyPersonally I feel like the absence of the “Threat to the universe “ is well needed because almost every DLC has been “You’re our only hope to save us all” ,whereas this next DLC is a story bent on personal matters
-
I mean, they were fairly far outside of our galaxy, so it might take them a while

triangle triforce army
Beware of Master Betty's song about Big Butts. He beats you up while he plays it!
-
3 RepliesI personally feel like they wrapped up the story line of the triangle ships quite nicely actually.
-
8 Replies1. The Triangle ships were out in INTERGALACTIC space when the Traveller's "light" reached them. I'm putting "light" in quotations marks because ACTUAL light would have taken BILLIONS of years to get to the point outside The Milky Way Galaxy where they were sitting. 2. Just from a narrative standpoint. You save your biggest enemy for last. The Traveller's Vision suggest that the Triangle ships are either "The Ancient Enemy" (or the race most closely associated with it) that the Traveller has been hiding from. So if you go with that now....you have nothing left for Destiny 3.

5 RepliesThey stopped at Spaceys. Pretty sure they also had to grab some space eggs and space milk before they blow us the -blam!- up.
-
They’re peanut brittle (licorice flavored), not ships.
-
I just hope the triangle ship enemies are not some recolored fallen or cabal.

3 RepliesIt took 634 years to reach Andromeda at light speed so...

6 Replies<Destiny 3, bro. Give the Darkness time and don't make literally the most important enemy in the franchise get blown on a DLC.>

3 RepliesWell, they WERE outside the galaxy, which is 100,000 light years in diameter.
-
They are traveling from outside the Milky Way. Gonna be a minute.
-
3 RepliesDude, did you not notice how far away they were from our galaxy? You could see the entirety of it on the screen, so I’d say it’s pretty damn far. Give them some time my man
-
I mean, they were way outside of our galaxy.......give them a damn minute.
-
1 ReplyThey were outside the milky way, and by my estimate from the cutscenes, they must be at least 500,000 light years away, which is a indescribably long distance.

Edited by mja calg: 7/26/2018 2:02:49 AMYup. I heard 2 of the ships had to stop at Daycare and pick up their offspring. Another one had their spouse call and they had to go to Space Walmart and pick up milk - of course there was a long line up so who knows when they will get out and back on the space road. Another had a flat tire or whatever they drive on and had to call for a Triangle TowTruck cause the spare had been stolen (see what happens when you park your vehicle in a bad neighborhood to save a couple of bucks on parking). Not sure what's holding up the rest, but it is space paving season so maybe they have a lot of space road closures, unexpected delays and forced alternative routes. All of the above makes as much sense as Deej spouting "Space Magic"..

Someone didn’t pay attention. Bungie already stated we’ll be visiting every place the light touched in ORDER! First Mercury. Second Mars. Third Reef. Fourth Titan, Dreadnaught and Saturn. Then the ships arrive in Destiny 3 Vanilla campaign.

Its a very long across the galaxy!

2 RepliesNo, they're just on the same server flight path I am usually on when I want to fly to the tower. I am always amazed by how long it takes to just fly to the tower.
