The wormhusk crown is a get out of jail free card for hunters, almost like d1 y1 blink. It is very clearly an over utilized exotic with no downsides, especially in the current meta. Many issues woth wormhusk would be solved by a graviton fix but it would still have issues otherwise Simple fix: wormhusk crown regenerates health when dodge is activated, but doubles the cool down. Health regen temporarily stops when shot but continues regen for a small duration. Health regen speed is less than the current speed Or instead of “nerfing” it like some people strongly disagreed to doing, Buff the titan crest of alpha lupi to give full health each time you walk up to the wall (within reason) & When initially deploying it “You’re just mad that you get outplayed by it” Yeah it’s baby’s first outplay Helmet. You shouldn’t increase The cooldown time because it breaks immersion/game balance/etc” But it really wouldn’t because you can heal yourself while reloading/recharging melee/going invisible “Just shoot them to stop the regen” 1. They can dodge around corners “So don’t engage them there, engage them out in the open or up close” Can’t do that now because I can’t get within half a maps distance of them because they’re using graviton lance Or They intentionally play around corners so when you do get close it devolves into melee battles or chaotic hipfire battles that ends in a trade 2. You might have to reload “So conserve your ammo” Pretty easy to do that. Even if I do get that health cancelling shot off I’ll need to reload very soon after & they’ll still get away while I reload/switch weapons “Then hit all your shots” That’s like telling a soccer player to pass the ball. That’s just what you do but sometimes shots just miss. We’re not all Bakengangsta and all have 100% accuracy. 3. The regen is too fast It doesn’t just regen health, it regen health and shields at the same time, so in the time you get one shot off, their health is near full but their shields are low If it regenerated health THEN shields this wouldn’t be an issue and would require some basic thought to utilize it. This isn’t even taking into account the buffs you get when using other subclasses while dodging Better yet why not nerf it to be like the current crest of alpha Lupi, where it only restores a portion of health? No. That’s a terrible idea
