Another question, I’ve only recently started Warframe, how long will it take to get the Umbra Excalibur, and will the quest go away?

Yes it is coop
-
Certain story missions are co-op compatible but mostly no. However, they’re all easily completed solo.

Yes and no. Some story missions are forced solo while others are co-op. To sum it up the campaign is split into several quests. Some will let you team up while others like the Umbra one you mentioned, is a solo.

3 RepliesQuests don’t go away, and you can do missions with several people (I did Vor’s Prize with a friend I tried getting into WF, but I can’t tell you how it is for all of the cinematic quests since I am a mid game player struggling on one of the parts of the second dream).
-
1 ReplyThere isn’t really a campaign. Or lore.
-
Some story is coop. Some isn’t. I believe the later ones that are more cinematic are solo only. As for Umbra the quest is permanent and is the current final direct story mission and isn’t going anywhere

Well i played with some new people a couple days ago and they've been playing the game non stop (i swear they dont even have a life) so i would say it takes at least 10+ hours if you play non-stop and the question about coop is ify. The later quests in the game focus on story and so a majority of the later quests are single player however the first bunch are completely coop. And for your final question, no quests are here to stay Hope i was of some help to you

Another question, I’ve only recently started Warframe, how long will it take to get the Umbra Excalibur, and will the quest go away?
-I think so. I haven't played story missions with anynody for a long time, I like to solo those. -It's been taking me a while, but I have been taking my time to go through the game. -No. The sacrifice is a quest that's here to stay.

1 ReplySorry I'm late to the party but good question. I've had Warframe installed for nearly 2 years and have hardly played it. But reading the replies you have got I'm itching to bad. Seems like a real supportive community too.

Edited by The Researcher: 7/25/2018 6:55:51 AMYou'll need to beat almost all the story until you get umbra, the quests don't go away. Only a few quests can only be played solo, but they're never difficult anyway. Anything else can be played co-operatively.

Edited by Rylor Threev: 7/25/2018 3:19:44 AMYou already have your answers but... Every mission/quest can be done solo or coop, with the exception of the following quests: Second Dream last part, War Within, Sacrifice (not sure about Chains of Harrow, maybe just last part) To get Umbra... it'll take a while, around 1-2 weeks of constantly playing warframe, and no, quests don't go away, only prime items and baro exclusive items. Also worth mentioning, you cannot get Excalibur Prime, Lato Prime and Skana Prime, these are part of the founders pack

Edited by Uriel Draigo: 7/25/2018 1:56:21 AMA majority of the missions (with the exception of cinematic quests like The Second Dream, War Within, and The Sacrifice, which must me played solo), may be done in either public or solo. I recommend solo if you're just starting out -- so you can be better acquainted with mission structure and game mechanics at your own pace, without feeling rushed.

2 RepliesWhy dont you Check YouTube or Check the wiki Or Try the game since it’s free to download Or Ask a friend who plays it
-
Quest never go away and some (not all) are repeatable. Some quest mission are co-op while others require you to be solo.
-
I just started playing but all missions are coop. you'll join someone playing or someone can join you. I usually put my que as solo so i can play stealthy otherwise the group that joins me just powers through the mission. Some missions its better theres plenty of horde style missions where a big group is good especially if you're a new player wanting high crafting gear

There’s some story quests that are meant to be solo-but some can involve co-op. If you just want some co-op, then there’s always most of Warframe at your disposal.

Could be.

The cinematic quests I believe are only solo. Some quests can be done with up to 4 people.

Aside from a couple quest-related missions, the whole game can be played co-op.
Not sure "campaign" is the right word for what Warframe offers...
