Are Destiny and Halo in the same universe?
After seeing and completing the whisper mission on IO, ive been seeing some people make correlations between Destiny and Halo. During Halo 2 Cortana says "Another whisper sir, near IO". Xol also bears a striking resemblance to the Gravemind from the Halo Franchise. What do you think, and if you have anymore dots to connect, post your theories below.

Shit you can tie things to Marathon, but highly doubt they're in the same universe. On the note of this there was capsule at the top of a shuttle in the Cosmodrome referencing Master Chief, but he didn't want to do shit and don't blame him.

Some easier to find and more overt than others. Are the games in the same universe though? No, not at all. They're just easter eggs made by devs. Homages to other games and pop culture that make people smile and say "that's cool".

2 RepliesHaven't played Halo, only once years ago (multiplayer forge, iirc); I probably never will. But I was on Reddit, saw a comment about this and someone said Halo timelines were around 2552 (or something like that) and that Destiny was ~700 years after, meaning it's possible for them to be the same universe. Like Master Chief could even be Saint-14.
