Maybe if you're just cleaning up unaware players who aren't in their super... But it is basically useless against almost every other super.

What?! Stormcallers go down instantly in Crucible! They lose in fights with practically every other super in the game and can easily be teamshot in a matter of seconds. How do I know this? I main two Stormcallers and I’m constantly getting obliterated by pretty much anyone who wants to obliterate me haha

I love storm caller in crucible! I use the skill tree with blink and I can blink out of anything! I’ve had strikers come at me and slam but if you blink at just the right time the slam will miss you. U can also use blink to avoid gunslingers, arc strider, sentinel, sun breaker, striker, void walker, dawn blade, even night stalker. So don’t u tell me storm caller is useless in crucible. But it definitely needs a damaged buff. I don’t like using all my super energy on one Knight.

Or maybe it’s because the Stormcaller Warlock is under powered per the general consensus of the D2 community. That and the Arcstrider Hunter.

It is not underpowered. It is the most brainless super in the game. Maybe you should learn how to use it and not walk in a straight line at the enemy team. Maybe try ionic blink? It’s harder to get hit and makes the super somehow EVEN EASIER to get kills with. Pure noob super imo. You guys also have pulse grenades, soooooo...

It is a brainless super I agree, however brainless doesn’t mean guaranteed kills. Ionic Blink is fine, but doesn’t guarantee kills, just guarantees the first guy doesn’t kill you immediately and it drains energy, meaning less to burn people with. If you think it is underpowered, then you are speaking from a place of opinion which is fine but the community agrees it needs either a small damage buff or at least a small buff to reducing incoming damage. Every super trumps Stormcaller, and given how often you and your opponents get their supers at the same time...well you can figure that out. It’s just not fun to get a super and then be killed before even getting a kill. This happens probably 50-60% of the time. On the flip side of the coin, I can easily kill a Stormcaller single handedly with a couple primary shots and a melee. So it’s not just me. Stormcallers CAN wipe a team, brainlessly at that, but that only happens when you catch an entire team sleeping, without supers, usually back in their own spawn.
