so Arcstrider can do 11k damage and clear add while Stormtrance does sub 2k ( i think it’s 1,800)
-
There are different weapons (supers) for different jobs. You don't use a sniper to kill a group of thrall. You don't use a rocket to disarm a mine.
-
Well... I mean... There are some mines that you could just blow up. I mean disarm and explode are basically the same. Right?
-
There's a lot more involved with each super than it's overall damage. Time it lasts, AoE, guardians speed. Destiny's subclasses have never and never will be perfectly balanced, but right now they're in a good place.
-
I think you're responding to the wrong guy. If you're not then I'm a little confused as to why you respond to my comment with that response.
-
Dude, if you're not going to follow the conversation from the beginning then stay out of it. You contribute nothing by reading out of context.
-
Explode/disarm, whatever. You don't use a rocket to take out a mine. You switch weapons. If you play an activity with a ton of ads, stormcaller is a good weapon to use. If you're taking out a boss, you switch weapons (subclasses).
-
all the yellow(orange-ish) bars (knights, centurions, wizards, and captains.) take way too long for a stormcaller to kill compared to an arcstrider. On top of that even with Crown of tempest, Arcstrider still clears hordes out faster.
-
Stormcaller is not meant for yellow bars. And you're forgetting that arcstrider actually takes skill. Stormcaller is by far the easiest subclass to use, and Bungie takes ease of use into account when balancing.
-
Edited by KingdeKobra: 7/23/2018 4:48:18 AMso Stormtance is useless seeing as the high priority adds in the Whisper are all yellow bars and if they take ease of use into mind explain sunbreaker. Tracking, cluster bomb, missle like hammer seem like the easiest super to use even when compared to nova bomb which is a one and done.
-
Lol "tracking". Not to mention hammers are easy to dodge. And you're saying stormcaller is useless for whisper, but what about sentinel. It's useless for everything. Why wouldn't you just take Dawnblade into that mission. You need to plan ahead, and use what works best for each encounter.
-
What is a mine btw. I can only think of the laser trip mines from D1.
-
Lol I'm not sure why you're caught up on the mines. It was a simple example. They are all over Destiny. The small plates that jump up a few feet when you get close. The ones that mess with your vision and speed.
-
Oh..... Yeah, my comment was really me trying to make a joke and it didn't help that I didn't understand what they/you were talking about. Sorry.
-
No problem

Yes, actually. I have played all classes, and I think that some of the warlocks abilities need a buff. Titans too.
