Which is the best subclass for warlock?
I was thinking of going stormcaller but in you guys opinion which is best.

Pvp... Bottom tree dawnblade or Top tree stormcaller w/ crown of tempests Pve... Use whatever you like best

Depends what you're doing. Heroic strikes- match the singe EP- void with tractor cannon Crucible- try all 3 and decide. Public events- storm caller can clear ads, dawn blade and void walker good for bosses again tractor cannon for void. Levithan raid: Gauntlet- Don't really need super Baths- storm caller, ad control and arc soul. Dogs- void walker, you should know by now, tractor cannon. Calus- stormcaller, ad control and arc soul Lunafacton boots help unless using WotW Haven't done raid laird yet. Faction rally- dawn blade for healing and dps on boss. Trials- same as crucible you decide. I've never played trials.

Devour is my favourite. Let's you play very aggressive. Stormcaller is excellent in certain situations to. Mainly when you need serious add control. Never really use Dawnblade myself but I hear it's for people that just want to watch the world burn. Don't limit yourself to one build, you'll only be missing out in some good times.

5 RepliesEdited by SilentCricket26: 7/22/2018 2:14:05 PMI suggest going by how you like to play. Arc looks to be the mobile subclass. So I’d say if you like to move and shoot a lot and avoid hits. That’s your class. Void is your typical recovery class. Fire from medium to long range not really getting close up unless countering rushing mobs. Heavy armor works great for Solar class. Get up close and use your melee and grenades a lot. High health with a bit of recovery. People will give you metas all day but it won’t help you if you can’t or dislike playing that way. You do you.

Voidwalker since it is tanky and can do the most damage with its super. Debuffing with Tractor Cannon and then Nova Bombing makes the class even deadlier.

1 ReplyCan’t go wrong with Sunbracer Dawnblade for pve. Very powerful since the additional grenades were added when you get a melee kill. Voidwalker is still the one for pvp imo. There’s no counter for blink in a 1 v 1 right now , but it takes time to master. I think when the forsaken though, the storm caller looks kinda awesome.
