That dude was awesome from Y1 The Dark Below in the Skywatch area wasnt he?
While i am here anyone know some extra Lore about him? Maybe why he is hated?
(Yes i did this beacuse he is back on IO and is a quest thing for the black spindle)

2 RepliesI was just thinking about him and Skywatch in general a minute ago.

The Found Verdict destroyed that clown.

6 RepliesUrzok was an executioner for the Hive. As the title of Hated, he was tasked to make living sacrifices to his God's. Fallen, Guardians, and even other Hive were sacrificed by him. Back in D1, Urzok was my nemesis. I spent months hunting him down, and it wasn't until rise of Iron and light level 373 that I finally had my revenge

5 RepliesThis is rather confusing for me. From what I know, all three bosses in the Whisper of the Worm mission are from D1, yet they were all killed before Oryx arrived. Urzok was killed by us during Crota’s rising. He may have survived due to all Hive having throne worlds so I won’t throw it out there as being far fetched of him being taken. But what confuses me are the other two. Valus Ta’uarc isn’t the next Taken boss right? That can’t be, since we’ve killed him. He was easily the hardest and most meme-able boss from Vanilla D1. So how he is here doesn’t make sense. He died from a lore standpoint before Oryx arrived to the system with the Taken. There’s no way he could’ve been taken. Whether this is another Valus with the same name is unknown. As for the final one, I’ll need the name of it. If anyone is kind enough to tell me, that’d be great :)

So hard to kill for the longest time and I miss the enemies moving against each other.

Valus Ta’aurc was taken and turned into Ta’aurc, Aspect of Hate as well

Edited by jokefacekillah3: 7/22/2018 1:23:48 PMAh good ole d1 urzock. That part had me stuck for so long and the crappy rewards at the end of the eris morn quest didnt help.

Once his op shields were down, he was easy. Seriously, his shields are impossible to take out unless you had like found verdict or a good arc heavy machine gun
-
He is hated because you had to use some skill to kill him rather than just spam abilities at him like 80% of the players do in this game
-
I hated that guy
-
I’ve chosen to forget him. 😤
-
4 RepliesI hated that guy.

I remember him. It took me months to kill that guy. To this day he is the most threatening boss I’ve ever encountered in this franchise, and that includes the time I spent two hours trying to beat calus (during which myself and one other person actually threw up) and the 6 hours I spent trying to solo the arms dealer quest for the legend of Acrius.

I almost expected the "remix" version of the sunless cell to take us back to the Cosmodrome and make us fight Urzok and ALak-Hul at the same time, Alak with a solar shield outside his cell.
-
I remember. Will go back to D1 Monday and do a last round around the Cosmodrome and delete D1 afterwards. D2 I already got rid of. Sad Bungie failed so hard. Back to better games.

1 ReplyUrzok isn't even on IO. I'm sure his name is different
-
Everyone feared him. I always hunted him for a challenge...especially during the Enemy Moves Against Eachother chaos fights.
-
Ye i hate that guy

4 RepliesSo if there's hope for Urzok coming back, Randal could be Skorn?
-
3 RepliesYes, I remember Urzok. Him and Randal casually sparred often when they weren't off decimating Kinderguardians.
-
3 RepliesDrevis, wolf baroness is also back for the spindle quest.
-
Yup I remember him
-
I just remember running him off the side of the rocks with my sparrow.
-
2 RepliesHe’s hated because he was like Randal, he would never -blam-ing die
