Arcstrider is meta...

Bungo Bungo Bungo... What have you created? A super that can kill any other super in a "fist fight". A super that last longer then any other super without any exotics. Ah yes! And a super that can lunge and kill you without even touching you. Ladies and gentlemen, I present Arcstrider. A simple fact: its meta. Thats right. This subclass is up there with Vwing, GravL, Antiope and Wormhusk. Lets get one thing straight,it does NOT necessarily need a nerf, but other supers need to be tuned like Arcstrider. If I pop Stormcaller I shouldnt die because it takes me 3.4 seconds to kill an Arcstrider whereas all he needs is to quick swipes. I shouldnt have to hit an Arcstrider with two shields only to see his health only a smidge from death. Something has to be done. Possible solutions: =Stormcaller damage should scale the longer a target is being shocked. Overall greater damage reduction in super.( How come an arcstrider can pop his super on red health and screw everyone up but stormcaller cant?) =Sentinal shield throw should always be a one hit kill. Overall damage reduction in super. =Dawnblade needs a bigger damage radius, needs to deal more damage and travel like 50% faster. Cant tell you how many times people just jump over your swords or how many times you hit a gaurdian and he still has 70 health left. The above is a suggestion, something to build on.

  • Arcstrider possesses a damage mitigation perk while dodging. This is how they’re able to survive two direct Sentinel Shield hits with only a small portion of health left. Sentinel Shield bounces towards players when hitting a solid object so it can’t have a damage buff since the tracking will allow so many effortless kills. Dawnblade requires a direct hit to one-hit kill any super. I’ve used Attunement of Sky (the tree without any super related perks) to take out another Dawnblade in just one hit by hitting him directly. However, due to their mobility and damage mitigation perk, Arcstriders will most likely not die since they’re difficult to hit and can tank a direct hit while dodging anyway. Stormcaller is just utter trash at this point in time. It takes four ticks of damage to take out a player. That means it takes eight ticks to take out a player in their super. Add on the damage mitigation? You’re not gonna take them down. Stormcaller definitely needs its old damage back again to put it on par with the other subclasses.
